The Artful Dodger is evasive and quick and unlikely to be easily caught, and they know how to fight dirty when needed.
Slippery Customer
Slippery Customer (3rd level Artful Dodger feature)
You are hard to pin down in a fight, and are able to exploit an enemies mistakes.
- You can use the Dodge action as part of your Cunning Action.
- When you take the Dodge action you can add your Proficiency Bonus to your AC until the start of your next turn. You can do this a number of times per long rest equal to your Dexterity modifier (Minimum of 1)
- You have advantage on Dexterity saving throws and any ability checks against being grappled or restrained.
- If a creature makes an attack but does not hit you on their turn, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
Quick Reflexes
Quick Reflexes (9th level Artful Dodger feature)
Your reflexes are so quick you can quickly retaliate to an attack against you.
When you use your Uncanny Dodge reaction you can also make an attack with an unarmed strike or with a weapon with the Light property against the person who dealt you damage. The weapon must already be in your hand and in the case of ranged weapons must already be loaded.
Heads up!
Heads up! (13th level Artful Dodger feature)
You can help allies out of the way of certain dangers, giving them warning to help them evade certain threats.
Any creatures of your choosing who can understand you, have advantage on Dexterity saving throws from any dangers you can see. Allies cannot use this feature if they have the Incapacitated condition.
If an ally is within 5 feet of you they can benefit from your Evasion ability. So if they are subjected to an effect that allows them to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, they use your roll for the save and take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw and only half damage if you fail.
Untouchable
Untouchable (17th level Artful Dodger feature)
Your evasive techniques have developed to a supernatural level where you can dodge death itself.
If you take any damage that would reduce you to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to avoid taking any damage.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.
