Base Class: Bard
The College of Dragons is one that's covered in mystery, so much so that you'd struggle to find a bard that knows of it, let alone anyone else. Despite this, those who grow close to a draconic being have a chance of being invited in. Because of this, many bards don't find it until later on in their careers, and it can be a demanding process to switch over to it. Bards that devote themselves to the words of this magical race can bolster their defences, command the elements, and even manifest aspects of these great creatures with songs and more.
Level 3: Draconic Resilience
At level 3, the magic in your body manifests physical traits of your draconic devotion. Your Hit Point maximum increases by 3, and it increases by 1 whenever you gain another Bard level.
Parts of you are also covered by dragon-like scales. While you aren’t wearing armor, your base Armor Class equals 10 plus your Dexterity and Charisma modifiers.
Level 3: Draconic Verse
From level 3, you gain access to the Alter Self, Dragon's Breath, and Summon Dragon and appropriate levels.
Along with that, you can use an Action and expend a Bardic Inspiration to sing a Dragon's Breath into being. Each creature in a 30-foot cone must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw where the DC is your Spell Save. On a failed save, the creature takes damage equal to a roll of your Bardic Inspiration die, where the number of dice is equal to your Proficiency Bonus.
Once you've taken this Action, you gain a Draconic Claw melee attack that does damage equal to a roll of your Bardic Inspiration die plus your Dexterity modifier.
Level 6: Draconic Chorus
Your Bardic Inspiration can help imbue others with the power of dragons. When a creature attacks, they can roll your Bardic Inspiration die and add the damage to that attack. Along with that, they can choose to have all of the damage from that attack be Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning, or Poison damage.
They can also choose to use a reaction upon taking any of those damage types and expend the inspiration to halve the damage.
Level 14: Draconic Finale
At level 14, you can sing the final threatening songs of the Dragons to invoke their might.
When using Draconic Verse. you can choose to also gain a +3 bonus to your Armor Class, add an additional die roll to your natural weapon attacks, and take an additional attack when taking the attack action.
You can do this twice before needing a Long Rest.
Activate Draconic Finale
Gain a +3 bonus to your Armor Class, change the modifier for your natural weapon attacks to Charisma, and take an additional attack when taking the attack action. This lasts for one minute or until incapacitated.
