Slapstick

When you join the College of Hamboning at 3rd level, you have grown attuned to using your hands to cast spells. When you cast a bard spell that has material components that would be covered by a component pouch or spellcasting focus, these material components can instead be considered somatic components for you.

Met with Thunderous Applause

At 3rd level, you can create a cacophony of slaps that overwhelm those around you. When you hit a creature with a melee attack, you can use your bonus action to slap yourself all over, creating the sound of applause. Creatures of your choice within 15 feet of you must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be deafened for one minute. The DC of this saving throw is equal to 10 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier. It can repeat this saving throw on the end of each of its turns. You can use this feature once per short or long rest. When you reach 6th level in this class, you can do this twice per short or long rest, and at 14th level in this class, you can do this three times per short or long rest.

Resonant Spellcasting

Starting at 6th level, booms can be heard as you cast spells. When you cast a bard spell by using somatic components that damages a creature, you can deal additional thunder damage. This damage is determined by rolling your bardic inspiration die and adding your Charisma modifier. In addition, creatures that are immune to the deafened condition can still be deafened by you.

Reverberate

Starting at 14th level, whenever you use can use blows you take to your advantage. When you are hit with a melee weapon attack, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to deal extra damage to the creature that hit you. This damage is thunder damage that equals the number you roll on the Bardic Inspiration die + your Charisma modifier. The creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or become deafened. The DC of this saving throw is equal to 10 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier.
