Level 3: Contractor Spells

The magic of your oath ensures you always have certain spells ready; when you reach a Paladin level specified in the Oath: Contractor Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.

Level 3: Hidden Tendril

When you take the Attack action or touch a creature, you can expend one use of your Channel Divinity to place a hidden tendril on a creature. For 10 minutes, creatures with a hidden tendril subtract 1d4 from saves prompted by spells and this class' features, and their speed is reduced by 10 feet. Additionally, the moment two or more different creatures have hidden tendrils at once, they are pulled together and take 2d6 force damage.

If a creature drops to 0 Hit Points while a hidden tendril is attached within the 10 minutes, the next Attack action you make can attach a hidden tendril without expending Channel Divinity.

Level 7: Lord's Slice

As an action, you can choose to contract and break your hidden tendril from a creature.  If so, if the creature is medium sized or smaller, they make a Dexterity saving throw, moving the distance between you two plus 10 feet towards you, and half as much on a failed save.  When using this ability, you also move up to 10 feet past the target's original position. 

Movement with this ability does not provoke opportunity attacks.  If any creature collides with an object while moved with this action, they take 2d6 force damage.
