Monk
Base Class: Monk

Rather than using the typical hand-to-hand of a standard monk, the way of the blade has kept to their use of swords in their combative endeavors. They've forfeit their unarmed capabilities in order to use a more precise tool of carnage, and gained unique abilities.

Level 3: Blade Attuned

Your practice with blades has made you well accustomed and proficient with their use. You gain Proficiency and Weapon Mastery with Short Swords, Long Swords, Scimitars, and Rapiers.

Level 6: Dashing Daggers

The magical energy commonly used by the Blade gains the ability to be imbued in simple weapons the Blade uses. You gain Proficiency in Daggers. Upon starting combat, and as a bonus action, you may throw a blade to a point within your walking speed. This blade does not do damage if it passes through a creature. As a reaction to receiving damage from an attack you may use a Focus Point to teleport to one of your blades as though you were casting Misty Step. When you do this the damage you would receive is mitigated by your 1d10 + your Constitution Modifier. Additionally, any creature that stands between you and your blade must make a Dexterity Save. Upon a fail the creature receives the amount of damage mitigated. On a success that damage is halved.

Level 11: Duel Slash

You've enhanced your dexterous actions and gained more mobility of the battlefield. At the start of combat, and whenever you take a bonus action to do so, you may throw two blades rather than one. Additionally when you take a reaction to Dashing Dagger you may dash an additional time to any other blade on the battlefield.

Level 17: Blitz of One-Thousand Slashes

You've honed your swords to the point of untold lethality. Upon landing an attack with your sword you may also activate Blitz of One-Thousand Slashes using 10 Focus Points. The creature gain an off putting sense of danger from you until you activate the secondary effect of Blitz of One-Thousand Slashes (purely roleplay wise). For an amount of hours equal to your monk level this off putting sense remains and you gain access to the secondary effect of Blitz of One-Thousand Slashes. As a action you may sheathe your blade at which the creature makes a Dexterity Save. Upon a failed save the creature takes 12d12 slashing damage, halved on a success. If the creature is under 100 Hit Points, or if they die from the damage, they are slashed into 1000 pieces and die instantly (Power Word Kill rules).

You may only have 1 creature under this effect at a time. Effect can only be dissipated with time.
