The Oath of Antagonism Against Entropy are usually called to service by the forces that bind the universe. Paladins of this Order rarely work together and in most cases a Paladin of Order will never meet another like them. In fact history tells us that when you do find yourself in the company of multiple Champions of Order it is likely the fate of the universe will be determined by whatever struggle they are fighting.   

TENETS OF ORDER

The tenets of the Oath of Antagonism Against Entropy  are often drawn into the war against Chaos because they have witnessed the destructive power and influence of chaos.

Strength. Your strength is necessary to hold back the end. Strength of arm. Strength of spirit. Strength of mind and Strength of spirit.

Structure. You must defend the structures in society that hold it together and destroy those that would tear it apart.

Stability. You must be the consistent force that holds your allies together. 

Survival. You must do what is necessary to ensure the end does not come.

You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following Channel Divinity options.

Control the Enemy. As a bonus action, your insight into your opponents allows you to intellectually compel them to fight with you. Each creature of your choice that you can see within 30 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, a creature is completely flummoxed and can't move more than 30 feet away from you. This effect ends on the creature if you are incapacitated or die or if the creature is more than 30 feet away from you.

Control the Field. As a bonus action, you can guide you allies with your Channel Divinity. You can briefly connect to the order of the universe and give guidance to your opponents helping them complete tasks or escape danger. Each creature of your choice that can hear you within 30 feet of you may add 1d6 + your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1) to any save or attack roll before the end of your next turn.

Survival Requires Sacrifice

Starting at 7th level, you understand more than anyone the logic that sometimes pain must be endured. You use your ability to anticipate the enemy to stay one step ahead. When a creature within 5 ft. of you takes damage, you can use your reaction to take the damage yourself instead. 

The Order Endures

Starting at 15th level, Once per long rest when you would go down to 0 HP instead you go to 1 HP.

You See the Order in Everything

At 20th level, your ability to anticipate your enemies and employ strategy reach a supernatural level when you elect to connect to the order of the universe. You can use your action to gain the following benefits for 1 hour:

  • You have resistance to psychic damage and lightning damage
  • As a reaction you can transfer all your resistances to an ally until the end of your next turn. However, you lose all those resistances until the end of your next turn 

This effect ends early only if you die... the mind lives on.
