Base Class: Druid
Druids of the Circle of the Dragon draw upon the primal forces of draconic might, channeling the ancient power of these legendary beings into their own bodies. These druids see dragons not just as creatures, but as fundamental forces of nature—symbols of raw elemental fury, unyielding resilience, and untamed majesty. Whether through the influence of an ancient dragon patron, the lingering magic of a dragon-blessed land, or a deeper spiritual connection, these druids reshape their very forms to mirror the grandeur of dragons themselves.
Level 2: Draconic Augmentation
Beginning at 2nd level your deep attunement to draconic energy has granted you the ability to channel portions of that energy into your own physique. When you select this subclass, choose one of the evolutions listed below and gain its effects. Whenever you finish a long rest, you may choose to swap your chosen evolution with another.
Evolution of Flight.
Leathery draconic wings can emerge from your body at a moment's notice. When you fall and aren’t incapacitated, you can subtract up to 100 feet from the fall when calculating falling damage, and you can move up to 2 feet horizontally for every 1 foot you descend. Additionally, when you transform with Wild Shape you gain a flying speed of 30 feet if the beast shape lacks it.
Evolution of Power.
You grow sharp claws or teeth that you can use to make unarmed strikes. You may use your Wisdom modifier instead of Strength for the attack and damage rolls, and on a hit the strike deals 1d8 piercing damage, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
Additionally, when you transform with Wild Shape, choose a damage type from acid, cold, fire, lighting, or poison. While in that beast shape you deal an additional 1d4 damage of the chosen type whenever you hit a creature with a melee attack.
Evolution of Resilience.
A layer of hardened scales cover parts of your body. While you aren’t wearing armor, your base AC is 12 + your Wisdom modifier.
You can use your evolution of resilience to determine your AC if the armor you wear would leave you with a lower AC. A shield’s benefits apply as normal while you use your evolution of resilience.
Additionally, whenever you finish a long rest or transform with Wild Shape, you may gain temporary hit points equal to half your druid level + your proficiency bonus.
Draconic Tongue
Starting at 3nd level your draconic affinity has granted you the capability to converse with Draconian creatures.

You learn Draconic, if you don't already have it. If you do you instead gain a language of your choice.

Rending Strikes. Your unarmed strikes and attacks in beast form count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.
Swift Adaptation. As a bonus action you can expend a use of Wild Shape to gain the effects of an evolution you aren’t currently benefiting from. These benefits last for 1 minute or until you become unconscious or die. You can only gain the benefits of one additional evolution at a time this way.
