Base Class: Monk
Channel the energy of the body and soul
Warriors of Ki have mastered the flow of internal energy within all living beings. Through precise strikes and refined techniques, they can suppress their foes’ movements, disrupt their abilities, and even redirect attacks.
Level 3: Ki Disruptor
3rd-level Warlord feature
When you hit a creature with an Unarmed Strike, you can spend 1 Focus Point to force it to make a Constitution saving throw. On a failure, choose one of the following effects:
Weakened Strikes: The target deals only half damage with its next successful weapon or unarmed attack.
Disrupted Footing: The target’s speed is reduced by half until the end of your next turn.
Suppressed Reflexes: The target has disadvantage on Dexterity saving throws until the start of your next turn.
Level 6: Energy Suppression
6th-level Warlord feature
When a creature fails the save against Ki Disruptor, you can spend 1 additional Focus Point to further block their Ki. Choose one of the following effects:
Sealed Strength: The target has disadvantage on Strength-based ability checks, attack rolls, and saving throws for 1 minute. It can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.
Suppressed Agility: The target has disadvantage on Dexterity-based ability checks, attack rolls, and saving throws for 1 minute. It can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.
Disrupted Mana: The target loses concentration on a spell, if it is concentrating, and cannot cast spells until the end of their next turn.
Level 11: Pressure Point Strike
11th-level Warlord feature
When a creature fails the saving throw against your Stunning strike, you can expend a Focus Point to Paralyze them instead of stun them.
Level 17: Ki Mastery
17th-level Warlord feature
Creatures under the effect of your Energy Suppression can use either an action or a bonus action on their turn, not both. When you apply an Energy Suppression effect, you can expend Focus Points to cause multiple of the effects to take place (3 per additional effect).
