3rd Level: Bloodletting Fury

When you enter a rage, you can choose to sacrifice a portion of your health to enhance your attacks. As a bonus action, you can expend hit points equal to your Barbarian level to gain the following benefits for the duration of your rage:

  • You add an extra 1d6 necrotic damage to your melee weapon attacks.
  • If you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with a melee weapon attack, you regain hit points equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1).

The extra damage increases to 2d6 at 6th level, 3d6 at 10th level, and 4d6 at 14th level.

3rd Level: Blood Rage

Your rage becomes a terrifying spectacle of bloodlust. While raging, whenever you take damage from a creature within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against that creature. If the attack hits, it deals an additional amount of damage equal to half the damage you just took (rounded down).

6th Level: Crimson Resilience

Your body becomes accustomed to the toll of your bloodletting. When you use your Bloodletting Fury feature, you can reduce the amount of hit points sacrificed by an amount equal to your Barbarian level + your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1).

In addition, while raging, you gain resistance to necrotic damage, and your maximum hit points cannot be reduced by any effect.

10th Level: Sanguine Frenzy

The thrill of battle ignites an uncontrollable frenzy within you. When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points while raging, you can immediately move up to half your speed and make one melee weapon attack as part of the same action. This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks.

Additionally, when you regain hit points from the Bloodletting Fury feature, you can add your proficiency bonus to the amount healed.

14th Level: Death's Reclamation

Your mastery over life and death reaches its peak. When you are reduced to 0 hit points while raging, you can choose to drop to 1 hit point instead. When you do so, you immediately regain hit points equal to half your Barbarian level + your Constitution modifier.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

Additionally, when you use your Bloodletting Fury feature, you can choose to double the necrotic damage dealt for one minute. Once you use this ability, you cannot do so again until you finish a short or long rest.
