Base Class: Barbarian
Barbarians are known for being simple, straightforward, and incapable of casting magic, particularly when raging. But Barbarians who take the path of the Rage Mage use their unbridled fury to push into the Weave itself, calling upon the Arcane forces of the world to respond to their unbridled anger.
Spellcasting
Constitution is your spellcasting modifier for all spells granted by this feature, since your ability to cast is granted by the sheer power or your will and your rage. Casting a spell while raging does not count as dealing damage, and your rage will still end if you do not deal or take damage.
Concentrating on a spell while Raging requires you to make a Constitution Saving Throw against a growing DC of 8 + the Spell's Level + the number of turns you have concentrated on the spell. Concentration outside of raging functions as normal.
Spell Save DC= 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution Modifier.
Spell Attack Modifier= your proficiency bonus + your Constitution Modifier.
Spellcasting Focus
Starting at 3rd level, while raging, any weapon you wield that you have proficiency with can be used as a focus for spellcasting. When you are not raging, a standard spellcasting focus must be used.
Rageful Flux
Starting at 6th Level, whenever you use your action to Attack, while raging, you may now cast spells that would normally take an action to cast as a bonus action.
Additionally, you gain proficiency in saving throws against spell effects.
Arcane Flexibility
Starting at 10th Level, whenever you take the Attack Action while raging, you may swap out a single attack for a cantrip that would normally take a bonus action to cast.
Additionally, when you are attacked, you may use your reaction to gain resistance to a damage type from a spell you know.
Primal Arcana
Starting at 14th Level, when you take the Attack Action on your turn, you may replace one of your attacks with a leveled spell that has a spell level equal to or less than your Proficiency Bonus that has a normal casting time of 1 Bonus Action. If you replace an Attack in this way, you may not replace an Attack with a cantrip and you may not cast a spell that would usually be an Action as a Bonhs Action
Additionally, on your turn you may use your action to make an Intimidation check against an ally within 60 feet who can see you and who has a Spellcasting Feature. The DC for the intimidation check is their Spell Save DC. If you succeed, they may use their reaction to cast a spell with a usual casting time of one Action or Bonus action from their spell list using one of your spell slots of the same level, otherwise treating the spell as they would if they had cast it on their own.
