Base Class: Druid

There are those among the Druids who fully immerse themselves in the flora aspect or fauna aspect of nature. This allows them to obtain power near the levels of the forest spirits themselves.

Circle Spells

At 2nd level, there are some spells you can obtain depending on what circle you choose. Flora or Fauna.

Fauna Spells

If you choose Circle of the Fauna, the following spells are automatically prepared.

When you cast locate animals or plants, you may only locate animals.

At 2nd level, animal friendship and speak with animals. At 3rd level, locate animals or plants and animal messenger. At 5th level, conjure animals. At 15th level, animal shapes.

Flora Spells

If you choose Circle of the Flora, the following spells are automatically prepared.

When you cast locate animals or plants, you may only locate plants.

At 2nd level, entangle. At 3rd level, spike growth and locate animals or plants. At 5th level, plant growth and speak with plants. At 11th level, transport via plants.

 

Dryadic Presence/Beastial Presence

Starting at 2nd level, you must choose to become a Dryadic Druid or a Bestial Druid.

Beastial Druid

If you become a Beastial Druid, you gain abilities that will allows you to become a master manipulator of animals. 

At 2nd level, any spell that is automatically prepared through "Circle Spell - Fauna Spells" does not have to have concentration maintained on any of them (however their effects still last).

At 6th level, any spell that is automatically prepared through "Circle Spell - Fauna Spells", if it would summon a creature, has the amount of creatures it would spawn doubled. Take for instance conjure animals. At level 5, you can normally summon 1 CR 2 beasts, now you could summon 2 CR 2 beasts. This doubling happens after any additional multiplication, such as in conjure animals, if you cast that spell at 5th level the amount of creatures you summon is doubled. With this feature, you will not just be able to summon 2 CR 2 beasts, you would be able to summon 4 CR 2 beasts with a 5th level spell slot.

Dryadic Druid

If you become a Dryadic Druid, you gain abilities that will allows you to become a master manipulator of plants. 

At 2nd level, any spell that is automatically prepared through "Circle Spell - Flora Spells" has any ranges associated with them doubled, their effects last twice as long, and you do not have to maintain concentration on any of them (however their effects still last).

At 6th level, any spell that is automatically prepared through "Circle Spell - Flora Spells" does not cost you a spell slot to cast.

Flora/Fauna Specialist

At 3rd level, you become an expert at recognizing items or creatures that are a part of your circle.

If you are a Dryadic Druid, you have knowledge on all flora in existence or that has once existed.

If you are a Beastial Druid, you have knowledge on all fauna iin existence or that has once existed.

Circle Form

At 3rd level, you gain the ability to transform into more powerful forms of your circle's specialty.

 

Beastial Form

As a Beastial Druid, you can use your Wild Shape to transform into a Beast of a CR equal to 1/3 your Druid level (rounded down).

Dryadic Form

As a Dryadic Druid, you can use your Wild Shape to transform into a Plant of a CR equal to 1/3 your Druid level (rounded down).

Forest Spirit/Beast Spirit

Starting at 6th level, you gain the powers of the spirits of the circle you chose.

Beast Spirit

If you are a Beastial Druid, you gain the ability to summon an apex predator of the animal kingdom to aid you. Once per long rest, as an action, you can summon a Tyrannosaurus Rex to aid you. This Tyrannosaurus Rex acts like a summon and goes directly after you in combat.

At 14th level, the amount of Tyrannosaurus Rexes you can summon per long rest goes up to two.

Forest Spirit

If you are a Dryadic Druid, you gain the ability to summon a guardian of the forest to aid you. Once per long rest, as an action, you can summon a Treant to aid you. This Treant acts like a summon and goes directly after you in combat.

At 14th level, the amount of Treants you can summon per long rest goes up to two.

Dryadic Roots/Beastial Blood

At 10th level, you unlock the origins of power deep within you circle.

Beastial Blood

If you are a Beastial Druid, you gain a powerful blood connection with the other members of your circle. During a short or long rest, you can communicate with any other Beastial Druid on the same plane of existence as you. When you complete a long rest, you gain temp HP equal to half your Druid level + WIS mod. In addition, any beast that you summon or transform (such as yourself or others) has magical attacks for the purpose of getting over resistances and immunities.

Dryadic Roots

If you are a Dryadic Druid, you unlock the roots of the circle and all living beings that connect to that circle. During a short or long rest, you can communicate with any other Dryadic Druid on the same plane of existence as you. When you complete a long rest, you gain proficiency in one skill of your choice and proficiency in one tool of your choice. This skill and tool proficiency last until you complete another long rest, in which you may choose a new skill and tool proficiency, or keep them the same.

True Dryad/True Beast

At 14th level, you become the truest form of your circle, unlocking unfathomable power.

True Beast

If you are a Beastial Druid, you now gain the ability to truly bend the fauna to your will. You can use wild shape as a bonus action, can wild shape into beasts with a CR equal to your Druid level x 3, and you can force a DC 8 + WIS mod + proficiency bonus WIS Saving Throw on a creature you are touching to forcefully wildshape them on a failed save. Also, all beasts you summon, transform, or become have a +3 to weapon attack rolls and damage rolls as well as double its normal max HP. In addition to the extra attack and damage bonuses, all of your beasts (Summoned, Transformed, or Became) attacks also deal 2d4 psychic damage.

True Dryad

If you are a Dryadic Druid, you now gain the ability to truly manipulate the flora itself to your will. You can now cast any automatically prepared spells from "Circle of the Flora" as an action or a bonus action (and vice versa), they all have a casting time of instantaneous, and they last until they are dispelled, either by you or another creature/magical effect. Also, all spells of 5th level or lower you cast cannot be affected by counterspell. Any spell of 6th level or higher that you cast that would be dispelled by dispel magic or by another magical effect is unaffected, unless it would be dispelled during its casting, such as in the case with counterspell.
