Monk
Base Class: Monk

A monk who follows the Way of Liberation believes in the freedom of person. They wander from place to place freeing people from opression and corruption. They see themselves and their abilities as tools for freedom, and try to usher in an era of peace. They've honed their Ki and their wills to become free-wheeling emissaries of Liberation. While typically good, some may find their way of Liberation through evil and chaos.

Bold and Brave

Starting at 3rd level, your determination to spread freedom propels you into battle. You can give yourself a bonus to your initiative rolls equal to your Charisma modifier.

 

Smite of Liberation

Starting at 3rd level, when you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can expend one use of Smite of Liberation to deal radiant damage to the target, in addition to the weapon's damage. The damage increases by 1d8 if the target is an undead or a fiend, to a maximum of 6d8.

Form of Freedom

In battle, you fight with a justified ferocity On your turn, you can enter your Form of Freedom as a bonus action.

When you make an attack, you add your Charisma modifier to the attack and damage rolls.

You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.

Your form of freedom lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if you are knocked unconscious. You can also end your Form of Freedom on your turn as a bonus action.

You can enter your Form of Freedom once per long rest. This becomes twice per long rest at 11th level.

Fearless

At 11th level, you're steadfast in your ways. You become immune to the frightened and charmed conditions. Additionally, creatures within 10 feet of you that make a Wisdom or Charisma saving throw can add a bonus to it equal to your wisdom modifier.

Hope Never Dies

At 17th level, your determination to bring freedom pushed past mortal limits. Once per long rest, when you hit 0 hit points or you die, you may use a Form of Freedom charge and get restored to 1 hit point instead.
