Base Class: Warlock
Tena is no ordinary patron. She was once an Amavikkan, a mortal who suffered, endured, and transcended death time and time again. Now, she stands beyond mortality, a spirit of vengeance, survival, and rebellion against the Depur—those who would claim ownership over others. Warlocks who swear themselves to Tena are not servants, but chosen survivors. They bear her blessing not only to endure, but to strike back.
Ima’s bond with Tena is not one of worship, but of shared purpose. Those who walk this path wield death like a tool, escaping its grasp only to bring its certainty to their enemies. They rise where others fall, they endure where others break, and they remind their foes that some chains can never hold.
Defy Death
Tena’s chosen are not so easily slain. When you would be reduced to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to drop to 1 hit point instead. When you do, you gain temporary hit points equal to your warlock level + your Charisma modifier and can immediately teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see.
You can use this feature once per long rest.
Grasp of the Unbroken
Tena’s will ensures that those who claim dominion over others feel the weight of their crimes. When you hit a creature with an attack or force them to make a saving throw against a warlock spell, you can bind them with an unseen force. They must make a Strength saving throw against your spell save DC or be restrained for 1 minute.
While restrained this way, the creature takes psychic damage equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1) at the start of each of its turns. They can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of their turns, ending the effect on a success.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all uses after a long rest.
Tena's Blessing
You have learned the secret of enduring beyond death, as Tena once did. You gain the following benefits:
- You no longer require food, water, or air to survive.
- You have resistance to necrotic and psychic damage.
- If you die, your spirit lingers for up to 1 minute. During this time, you can see and hear as if you were alive and can communicate telepathically with creatures within 30 feet. If an ally restores you to life within this duration, you regain hit points equal to twice your warlock level.
Undying Rebellion
Tena’s defiance is now fully yours. When you are reduced to 0 hit points or killed, you can choose to unleash a final, devastating act of defiance, a mimicry of the slave chip explosions that have freed, killed, and saved so many- including Tena herself. When you do, you immediately regain half of your maximum hit points and force all hostile creatures of your choice within 30 feet to make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, they take 6d10 necrotic damage and are frightened of you for 1 minute. On a success, they take half damage and are not frightened.
Once you use this feature, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest.
