Base Class: Sorcerer
Those whose souls have been altered by the Weave itself have a much deeper connection to magic than any other. Some have had their essence tampered with by a mad wizard. Others have been in magically infused accidents with no hope of survival. No matter the situation, these individuals were not destroyed by the raw magic, but instead infused with it; their very soul charged with the essence of the Weave. Your connection allows you to sense the very magic around you, and gives you a better understanding of magic. You are magic; Magic is you.
And all Magic is yours for the taking.
Weave Spells
Starting at 3rd level, you learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Weave Spells Table. Each of these spells count as a Sorcerer Spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of Sorcerer spells you know.
| Sorcerer Level | Weave Spells |
|---|---|
| 3rd | Magic Missile, Shield, Aid, Nystul's Magic Aura |
| 5th | Fly, Protection From Energy |
| 7th | Otiluke's Resilient Sphere, Locate Creature |
| 9th | Bigby's Hand, Rary's Telepathic Bond |
Conduit of the Weave
Your body is naturally connected to the weave, and as such has learnt to harness its powers. When you choose this origin, you gain the following benefits.
- Your Base AC is 13+Dex, as a thin veil of magic shields you from harm.
- You gain a bonus to arcana checks equal to your charisma modifier (minimum +1).
- You have the Sorcerous Burst Cantrip always prepared, but does not count as one of your known spells. In addition, whenever you cast this cantrip, you can choose Force as one of the available damage types.
Flesh of the Weave
Your flesh is woven with the weave, enhancing your durability and defences. You gain an additional number of Sorcery points equal to your Proficiency bonus, and gain access to a new metamagic; Woven Mail.
Woven Mail: You can expend 1 to 5 sorcery points to create a magical ward around yourself; roll a number of d8's equal to the sorcery points spent, and gain temporary hit points equal to the total amount rolled plus your charisma modifier.
Woven Force
Your Control over the weave grants you access to new heights of power, as you learn to channel it from defensive, into more offensive manners.
Whenever you would deal force damage with a Sorcerer Spell, you deal additional damage equal to your charisma modifier.
Arcane Absolution
Your soul harnesses the power of the weave, allowing you to become a conduit of its potential. As a bonus action, you can temporarily attune your body and life force to the weave for 1 minute. For the duration, you gain the following benefits.
- You gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed and can hover.
- You gain resistance to damage from spells and magical effects, and advantage on saving throws from spells and magical effects.
- Your concentration cannot be broken.
- Whilst you have temporary hit points from your Woven Mail Metamagic, your Armor Class increases by an amount equal to the number of sorcery points spent on Woven Mail.
When you activate this feature, you can also activate your Innate Sorcery Feature as part of the same bonus action. This feature can only be activated once per long rest, unless you spend 6 sorcery points to activate it again.
