Base Class: Monk
Through years of training, you have unlocked the ability to sense and strike the chakra network in all living beings, disrupting or enhancing their flow of energy. As your mastery deepens, you gain the ability to improve your own chakra, enhancing your physical and spiritual abilities. At the highest levels, you transcend the limitations of mortal energy itself.
Chakra Awareness
You unlock the ability to visualize the chakra network in all creatures, seeing their flow of energy and where it pools.
Chakra Sense
You gain advantage on Insight (Wisdom) checks to read an opponent's movements and emotions. You can also sense the life force of creatures within 30 feet, detecting invisible or hidden enemies unless they are undead or constructs.
Chakra Strikes
Chakra Strikes: Whenever you hit with an unarmed strike, you can expend 1 Ki Point to apply a Chakra Effect (either a Disruptive Strike or a Flowing Strike). Only one Chakra Effect can be applied to a target at a time.
Root Chakra (Muladhara) – Gravity's Center
Disruptive Strike: Target makes a Strength saving throw or is knocked prone. If already prone, they take extra damage = Wisdom mod.
Flowing Strike: An ally you touch immediately regains footing, ending the prone condition and gaining temporary HP = your Wisdom modifier.
Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura) – Focus Power
Disruptive Strike: Target makes a Constitution saving throw or loses their reaction. If they fail by 5 or more, they also lose their bonus action for 1 turn.
Flowing Strike: An ally you touch gains Advantage on Strength checks and saving throws for 1 minute.
Chakra Mastery & Spiritual Striker
Your understanding of chakras has deepened, allowing you to deliver powerful life-draining attacks or empowering restoration, and even affect undead and incorporeal creatures.
Chakra Flurry
When using Flurry of Blows, you may apply one Chakra Strike for free. (cannot be used with Lotus Blossom Strike)
Chakra Infusion
You may spend 2 Ki Points to transfer energy into an ally, restoring HP equal to your Monk level + Wisdom modifier.
Spiritual Striker
You can now use Chakra Strikes on undead and incorporeal creatures by targeting their residual energy fields instead of chakras. However, undead & incorporeal creatures have advantage on saving throws against your Chakra Strikes. You gain Advantage on Insight checks to detect undead disguised as living creatures.
Lotus Bloom Strike
By spending 4 Ki Points, you perform a rapid series of chakra-targeting strikes, hitting 7 times in a single moment.
Harmonized Chakra Flow
Control over your own chakra network has reached a new level, granting you heightened movement, vitality, and balance.
Root Chakra Enhancement (Muladhara) – Improved Movement & Stability
Your movement speed increases by 10 feet, and you gain advantage on saving throws against being knocked prone or moved against your will (e.g., spells like Thunderwave or grappling attempts).
Sacral Chakra Enhancement (Swadhisthana) – Window to the Soul
You gain proficiency in Insight (if not already proficient).
If you already have proficiency, you gain Expertise in Insight, doubling your proficiency bonus for the skill.
In addition, if you are touching the target, you gain advantage on the Insight check.
Solar Plexus Chakra Enhancement (Manipura) – Improved Ki Restoration
You now regain Ki points equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum 1) after a short rest, rather than requiring a long rest to restore all of them.
Advanced Chakra Manipulation
Your strikes now reach deeper into the spiritual energy of a being, allowing you to manipulate their inner balance.
Chakra Infused Strikes
This class feature replaces Ki Infused Strikes' effect with, "When attacking with an unarmed strike, you can spend a ki point to add 1 point of ki damage (force damage) to the attack, per ki point spent this way. Also, for each ki point you spend for ki infused strikes, you can add additional chakra damage (force damage) equal to your proficiency bonus.
Dual Chakra Flow Strike
You can now target two different chakras on a single target.
Greater Chakra Suppression
You may spend 2 Ki Points to suppress any physical or mental function for 1 minute.
Increased Chakra Strike List
Gain several new chakra strikes to further control the flow of battle.
Heart Chakra (Anahata) – Love and Hate
Disruptive Strike: Target makes a Charisma saving throw or becomes hostile to allies for 1 turn.
Flowing Strike: You restore emotional balance to an ally, immediately ending fear or charm effects on them.
Sacral Chakra (Swadhisthana) – Sense of Self
Disruptive Strike: Target makes a Wisdom saving throw or suffers disadvantage on Charisma checks and saves for 1 minute.
Flowing Strike: An ally gains Advantage on Charisma checks and saving throws for 1 minute.
Mastery of Inner Flow
Your chakra flow mastery has risen you to transcendent physical and spiritual heights.
Crown Chakra Enhancement – Spirit Surge
Once per long rest, if you are reduced to 0 HP but not outright killed, you can choose to stay conscious and act normally for one additional turn instead of falling unconscious.
Heart Chakra Enhancement – Unshakable Willpower
You gain advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened.
Third Eye Chakra Enhancement – Reader of Life Flow
You develop a permanent Sixth Sense, allowing you to sense living creatures within 30 feet, even if you can’t see them.
Increased Chakra Strike List: Grandmaster Chakra Strikes
At this level, you have reached true mastery of chakra manipulation.
Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) – Connection to the Universe
Disruptive Strike: Target makes a Wisdom save or is Stunned for 1 minute. The target can roll additional saving throws at disadvantage at the end of each of it's turns unless the target already has disadvantage on it's Wisdom saving throws.
Flowing Strike: You restore 10 ki points to yourself or an ally (once per long rest). If the target is not a Monk, they gain inspiration.
Heart Chakra (Anahata) - Death Touch Sever Soul
Disruptive Strike: Spend 8 Ki Points to stop a target’s heart for 1 minute. At the end of their next turn, the target can make a Constitution saving throw. With a successful saving throw, the target regains consciousness at the beginning of it's next turn with half it's maximum HP. On a fail, it regains consciousness after 1 minute with 1 HP and 4 points of exhaustion.
Flowing Strike: Spend 8 ki points to stop an allies heart for 1 minute. Any examination (even magical) will reveal that the target is deceased. After 1 minute, the target regains consciousness with the benefits of a short rest. The target is allowed to spend hit dice to heal and they gain temporary hit points equal to your monk level.
Third Eye Chakra (Ajna) – King's Gaze
Disruptive Strike: Target makes an Intelligence save or suffers disadvantage on all Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma checks and saving throws for 1 minute. If the target fails an Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma check or saving throw, they take 2d10 psychic damage.
Flowing Strike: You or an ally gains Truesight (30 feet) for 1 minute.
Throat Chakra (Vishuddha) – Throat Chop
Disruptive Strike: Target makes a Constitution save. If the target fails it's save, it is Silenced for 1 minute (no verbal spellcasting) and is unable to breath. This also means it cannot use breath weapons, take the swallow action, or any other similar action.
Flowing Strike: An ally gains Advantage on Persuasion, Deception, and Intimidation for 1 minute. They also gain advantage on Performance checks that involve speaking or singing. In addition to this, breath weapons gain a +10 to damage rolls.
Enhanced Chakra Strikes: Duality of Life
Whenever you use a Chakra Strike, you may apply both its Disruptive and Flowing effects on different targets as part of the same attack action, spending available movement as needed while automatically using the disengage action.
