"The Brotherhood's Chosen"

From the ancient halls of the Brotherhood of Paldimar rises a cadre of warriors unlike any other. The Warriors of the Brotherhood are the chosen few who combine the sacred teachings of the Brotherhood with the boundless potential of magic.

The Brotherhood has long believed that strength is not merely a matter of the body, nor magic just a tool of the mind. The Warriors of Arcane Essence exemplify this philosophy, training their bodies to withstand the deepest pressures of both physical combat and arcane manipulation.

With each strike, they call upon eldritch forces, drawing upon their spiritual strength to unleash devastating blows laced with arcane energy. These warriors have transcended the traditional limits of martial combat, fusing their bodies and minds to wield spells as effortlessly as their fists. A Warrior of Arcane Essence does not just fight—they shape reality itself with every movement, bending the arcane to their will and smiting their enemies with a fury that can only be described as otherworldly.

Level 3: Spellcasting

When you reach 3rd level, you augment your martial prowess with the ability to cast spells.You learn one cantrip of your choice from the sorcerer spell list and the eldritch blast cantrip. You learn an additional sorcerer cantrip of your choice at 10th level.


You can also cast spells from the Sorcerer spell list, with Constitution as your spellcasting modifier.

Spell Slots
The Warrior of Arcane Essence Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your sorcerer spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell's level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest.

In addition, you gain proficiency in either Arcana or Athletics.

Bonus Proficiency

You are proficient in a skill of your choice - recommended that you choose either Arcana or Athletics.

Essential Vitality

At 3rd level, you can infuse your physical body with arcane energy. You use your Constitution instead of Wisdom to add to your unarmored defense.

Level 6: Channeled Determination

 

Starting at 6th level, when you hit a creature with an unarmed strike attack as part of the attack action, you can infuse your strikes with arcane power. You can expend one spell slot to cast a spell that normally has a casting time of one action as a bonus action. When you cast a spell in this way, the spell targets only the creature you struck, ignoring any area of effects.

If the spell requires an attack roll, the spell automatically takes effect. If the spell requires a saving throw, the creature makes a save as normal.

Level 11: Arcane Barrage

At 11th level, you gain the ability to unleash a barrage of arcane-powered strikes at a distance.  When you cast Eldritch Blast, you can expend 3 Focus Points to cast the spell again as a bonus action. 

Level 17: Essence of Life

At 17th level, you can conduct a special ritual, leveraging your innate connection to the weave to bestow life. You can expend 10 focus points to infuse a portion of your spirit in another body and cast the simulacrum spell, but until the simulacrum is destroyed, you cannot regain these focus points.
