Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

Also known as Knights of the New Gods, Bladeguard, or simply Oathsworn, Paladins that swear the Oath of Will seek to use the power within every living being with a soul; That of Willpower. They augment their battle prowess by using every ounce of might, or using every facet of their mind. This often leaves them drained, but emulates what every sapient species could be.

TENANTS OF WILLPOWER

The Tenants of Willpower drive a Paladin to become the best form of themselves that they can be.
Strive for More. A Bladeguard should never be content with a job well done. A job done is a job that you learn from, and adapt to.
Discipline Your Mind. The mind is a gateway to the soul. By training it, you become stronger in your soul, just as you would with a body training exercise.
Endure Through Hardship. The greater a hardship is, the greater both your soul and body develop. Just as a bodybuilder builds muscle, you too must build your mind.

Oath of Will Spells

You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed in the Oath of Will Spells table. See the Sacred Oath class feature for how oath spells work.

Oath of Will Spells

Enduring Will

Upon dropping to 0 hit points, if you did not outright die, you may use a reaction and a use of your Channel Divinity to instead drop to 1 hit point instead.

Aura of Willpower

While you are conscious, all friendly creatures within 10 feet of you may add your Charisma bonus an additional time to their Charisma and Wisdom saving throws.

Unparalleled Tenacity

Once per turn, upon failing a Saving Throw, Attack Roll, or Skill Check, you may instead succeed it. For each time you use this ability, you gain one Point of Exhaustion.

Tireless

At 15th level, you gain the ability to keep going when others could not. When you finish a short or long rest, you remove one point of exhaustion.

Strength of Will

At 20th level, you gain the ability to harness every ounce of strength, both mental and physical, for a short time. As an action, you can magically become an avatar of willpower, gaining the following benefit for 1 minute:

At the start of your turn, make a Charisma Saving Throw. On a result of 20+, you can remove one Level of Exhaustion from yourself.

Once this effect ends, you gain two Levels of Exhaustion.
