Base Class: Monk
Sorry for any misspelling, this subclasses is inspired by tai Chi, gentle fist technique from Naruto and those cool martial arts scenes that you see in films where 1 person fights a horde of people, like the infamous hallway scene.
It is my first time making a subclass and I will like people's opinions so I can change and tweak. Please be fair and honest.
Meridian theory
You gain proficiency in medicine and 2 Artisan’s Tools of your choice: Alchemist’s Supplies, Poisoner’s kit, Herbalism Kit and Brewer’s Supplies
Eight trigram barrier formation.
As a bonus action you enter a stands that increase your defense. You gain a plus 1 to AC and Strength saving throw for every enemy that is 5 feet next or adjacent to you (Max of 8). This last for 10 minutes or Until you move more than 5 feet. While active your gain blindsight up to 15 feet And you can choose to deal piercing damage with your autumn strike instead of bludgeoning.
tenketsu strike
When you hit a creature with an attack, you can use a focus points to cause different effects to happen. Creature must fail a constitution saving throw for effect to take place.
1FP- Creature is poison.
2FP- Creature is blinded and deafen.
3FP- Creature gains the effect of this slow spell, No concentration require.
This last for a minute or the creature can spend an action to repeat the saving throw to end the all effects early.
Rapid assault
you gain bonuses for successful consecutive hits on a target. On your turn, you gain a +1 bonus to the attack rolls of your unarmed strikes or monk weapon for each hit that you have made on that target on your turn, to a maximum of +10. This bonus resets to 0 if you take damage from a hostile creature.
Vacuum palm
Replace one of your attack for a vacuum palm, cost 3 focus points. You make an unarmed strike, On a hit the creature makes a Constitution saving, on a fail they are push 20ft away from you and take force damage, or half damage on a success and are push 5ft. Roll a number of your martial arts dice equal to the bonus you gain from your Rapid Assault ability to determine the number of dice you roll (minimum 1).
The bonus from your Rapid Assault ability resets to 0 once you use this feature, regardless if you hit-or-miss.
Eight trigram barrier improvement
Gain +2 to AC and Strength saving if an enemy is 10ft near you (max of 8), plus your blindsight is now 30ft.
Lotus stands
When an attack made by a hostile creature misses you or you succeed on a saving throw while the 8 trigram formation is active, you can spend a focus point to make an opportunity attack without spending your reaction.
