Paladins who swear the Oath of the Faceted Guardian embody the resilience, clarity, and brilliance of the finest gemstones. They see justice as a carefully cut and polished facet unyielding in its sharpness, yet radiant in its purity. These warriors are the sworn protectors of sacred relics, divine light, and the hidden wisdom crystallized within ancient gems.

While some serve as wardens of lost vaults, others are chosen by the Gem God Huehuetzin to carry his radiance into the world, scattering darkness like refracted light. To them, corruption is but a flaw to be polished away or shattered beyond repair.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following Channel Divinity options:

- Prismatic Aegis. As an action, you call upon divine light to shield yourself or an ally. For 1 minute, the target gains resistance to radiant, force, and elemental damage (fire, cold, lightning, or thunder, chosen when activated).

- Refraction Strike. As a bonus action, you imbue your weapon with brilliant energy. For 1 minute, your melee attacks deal an extra 1d8 radiant or force damage, and you can force a creature you hit to make a Constitution saving throw. On a failure, the target is blinded until the end of your next turn.

Aura of the Faceted Guardian (7th level)

Your presence radiates divine resilience. You and allies within 10 feet gain advantage on saving throws against being charmed, blinded, or petrified.

At 18th level, the range increases to 30 feet.

Diamond Resilience (15th level)

Your body becomes as unyielding as the hardest gemstones. You gain resistance to radiant and force damage, and whenever you make a saving throw to resist being stunned,paralyzed, orrestrained, you can roll twice and take the higher result.

Facet of Divinity (20th level)

As an action, you become a beacon of Huehuetzin’s divine radiance for 1 minute, gaining the following benefits:

  • You emit bright light in a 30-foot radius, which cannot be obscured or extinguished.
  • You gain resistance to all damage except psychic.
  • Your melee attacks deal an extra 2d8 radiant damage and bypass resistance to non-magical weapons.
  • Once per turn, when you take damage, you can split the pain choose a creature you can see within 30 feet. They take half of the damage instead.

Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
