Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Unlike every other Warlock subclass, you do not have the option to choose this at 3rd level.  The only way to become a Warlock of The Great Unborn One is if you were infected with the Magical Tattoo of Tattooing (search homebrew for the item, since D&D Beyond won't allow me to link it here). When a creature who has no spellcasting levels (background or racial spells don't count) is bestowed/infected with the Magical Tattoo of Tattooing, the next time they gain a level, they must become a level 1 Warlock of The Great Unborn One. If they choose to continue to advance in the Warlock class, they automatically gain this subclass at 3rd level. Those who do have levels in a spellcasting class may choose to follow this path, but they are not required to.

This is all because of the Magical Tattoo of Tattooing, since a person must have at least one level in a spellcasting class before they can craft a magical tattoo.

Level 3: Fetal Development

Your pact with the Great Unborn One ties you into his own future potential. As a result, your Warlock powers will grow faster, just as the Great Unborn One is.

From level 3 to level 10, you gain a 10% bonus on all experience points earned.

Level 3: Unborn One Spells

The magic of your patron ensures you always have certain spells ready; when you reach a Warlock level specified in the Unborn One Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.

Unborn One Spells
Warlock Level Spells
3 Mind Sliver, Absorb Elements, Expeditious Retreat, Mage Armor Enhance Ability, Magic Weapon, Rope Trick
5 Glyph of Warding, Slow
7 Banishment, Evard's Black Tentacles, Fabricate, Stoneskin
9 Synaptic Static, Telekinesis, Transmute Rock

Level 3: Physical Growth

Just as the Unborn grow and get stronger in the womb, so do you. You gain a +1 increase to your choise of either Strength or Constitution, up to a maximum of 30.

Level 6: Karmic Reversal

The Unborn One desires safety to grow. Its desire for safety alters fate in your favor. When you take melee range damage, you can nullify incoming damage and return it to the attacker as Psychic damage. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once), but you can use it no more than once per round. You regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.

Level 6: Urgency of Creation

Your soul reverberates with the need to create. The feeling of bringing something new into the world is overwhelming. The Unborn One's determination to become The Newborn One is your determination. Once per month, if you create a Magical Tattoo of Tattooing (search homebrew for this, for some reason I can't link it here) on someone without any spellcasting levels, you are granted additional temporary hit points equal to 2d8 + Charisma modifier. The blessing of the additional hit points last for one month, and if used up by damage, you can recharge the temporary hit points after a long rest.

Level 10: Mental Evolution

The mind of the Unborn expands and reaches. It touches you more deeply, its strength is your own. Your strength its own. It is reaching towards life, and so protects against the forces of Death.  You may choose to gain resistance to both Psychic and Necrotic damage.

Level 10: Embryonic Acceleration

You are granted a +1 stat increase to either Intelligence or Wisdom, up to a maximum of 30.

Level 14: Cry of the Unborn

As an action, you may cry with the future voice of The Unborn One. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.
