Base Class: Fighter

Some of the mightiest of elven warriors, the Aurora Knights are skilled warriors who use illusion magic on the battlefield to trick their enemies and protect their allies. They go to battle adorned with silver armor and wielding glass blades of impossible strength.

Illusory Overlay

3rd-level Aurora Knight feature

You learn the secret elven art of creating an illusory duplicate over your self to mask your attacks. As a bonus action, you can grant yourself advantage on all of your attack rolls until the start of your next turn as your overlay confuses your foes. This does not effect creatures who can perceive illusion for what they truly are or who do not rely on sight, such as creatures with blindsight.

Additionally, while your illusory-overlay is active, when a creature hits you or an ally within 5ft of you with an attack roll, you can use your reaction to have your overlay take the hit instead, preventing the damage. Your Illusory Overlay then ends.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency bonus. You regain all expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.

Your armor doesn’t impose disadvantage on your Dexterity (Stealth) checks as your skills with illusion magic helps keep you hidden.

Additionally, you learn how to use your abilities to hide your self from the views of others. As a bonus action you can turn yourself invisible until the start of your next turn. The invisibility ends early if you attack or cast a spell.

You use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and regain all uses after a long rest.

Distortion Screen

10th-level Aurora Knight feature

You learn how to distort your allies’ appearance to make them harder to hit. While your Illusory Overlay is active, all friendly creatures within 30ft of you fall under the effects of the blur spell.

Quick Creation

15th-level Aurora Knight feature

Your skills at crafting illusions has enhanced to be capable of manifesting physically for a short time. As an action you can cast the creation spell, forgoing the normal 1 minute casting time, and requiring no components.

Once you cast creation with this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a use of your Illusory Overlay or Active Camouflage abilities.

Battleground Mirage

18th-level Aurora Knight feature

You learn the secrets of creating grand illusions that can blanket the battlefield. As an action you can cast the mirage arcane spell, forgoing the normal 10 minute casting time. When you cast Mirage Arcane in this way, the spell’s area is reduced to a 150-foot square and the illusion is centered on yourself.

You can use Battleground Mirage only once, regaining the ability to do so after a long rest.
