Base Class: Wizard

Sages are often kind and intelligent people who use mechanical nouliths to both harm enemies and protect allies. They are capable of healing and shielding, and experienced sages can even do so without using spell slots, with some limitations. Sages can also use Kardia to cause an ally to be healed whenever the sage attacks.

Kardia: Sages are exceptional at balancing offense and defense. Starting at level 3, sages gain access to the action 'Kardia'. This will place the effect 'Kardion' on a target within a 45 feet range and Kardia on the sage. This effect cannot be removed by anyone other than the target or the sage that casted the spell. Whenever a sage affected with Kardia deals damage with a spell, they will heal the target with Kardion (that they applied) at the same time for an amount equal to their level. Kardia and Kardion persist even through death (though a fully dead target cannot be healed), and have an infinite duration. These abilities are only removed if the two people applied with these effects are over 150 feet from each other, or if they are on different planes. A sage can only have Kardion active on one target at a time.

Eukrasia: Starting at level 3, sages have the ability to turn their healing from spells into shields. As a bonus action, sages can use 'Eukrasia', which will cause the next healing spell they cast to give bonus hit points rather than healing. These bonus hit points will last for 30 seconds, or 5 rounds.

Addersgall: Starting at level 6, Sages gain the ability to accumulate and use 'Addersgall'. Every 20 seconds, or 4 rounds in combat, sages will gain one 'Addersgall', up to a maximum of three. Sages can use an Addersgall when casting a 1st, 2nd or 3rd level healing or defensive spell rather than using a spell slot. This ability cannot be combined with Eukrasia.

Addersting: Starting at level 10, sages gain access to 'Addersting'. Whenever the bonus hit points from a 'Eukrasia' spell casted by the sage are fully consumed before their 5 round duration, the sage gains one 'Addersting', up to a maximum of three. If the 'Eukrasia' spell was multi-target, only the bonus hit points on the sage will count. When a sage casts a 1st, 2nd or 3rd level offensive spell, they can use an 'Addersting' rather than a spell slot.

Eukrasian Mastery: Starting at level 14, Sages are able to truly master Eukrasia, healing at the same time as shielding. Whenever a sage uses a 'Eukrasia' healing spell, they will also heal the target for an amount equal to half of the bonus hit points the target(s) receive.

Level 3: Kardia

You gain access to the action 'Kardia'. This will place the effect 'Kardion' on a target within a 45 feet range and Kardia on the sage. This effect cannot be removed by anyone other than you or your target. Whenever youyou are affected with Kardia and cast a damaging spell, you will heal the target with Kardion (that they applied) at the same time for an amount equal to your level. Kardia and Kardion persist even through death (though a target with 0 hit points cannot be healed), and have an infinite duration. These abilities are removed if the two people applied with these effects are over 75 feet from each other, or if they are on different planes. You can only have Kardion active on one target at a time.

Whenever the bonus hit points from a 'Eukrasia' spell casted by you are fully consumed before their 5 round duration, you gain one 'Addersting', up to a maximum of three. If the 'Eukrasia' spell was multi-target, only the bonus hit points on you will count. When you cast a 1st, 2nd or 3rd level offensive spell, they can use an 'Addersting' rather than a spell slot.
