Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

Holy Warriors combine the martial mastery common to all Fighters with devotion to a deity. Their faith both complements and extends their combat skills, providing additional protection to shore up their armor and also allowing them to engage many foes at once with divine magic.

Level 3: Spellcasting

You have learned to cast spells.

Cantrips. You know two cantrips of your choice from the Cleric spell list. Whenever you gain a Fighter level, you can replace one of these cantrips with another cantrip of your choice from the Cleric spell list.

When you reach Fighter level 10, you learn another Cleric cantrip of your choice.

Spell Slots. The Holy Warror Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your level 1+ spells. You regain all expended slots when you finish a Long Rest.

Prepared Spells of Level 1+. You prepare the list of level 1+ spells that are available for you to cast with this feature. To start, choose three level 1 spells from the Cleric spell list.

The number of spells on your list increases as you gain Fighter levels, as shown in the Prepared Spells column of the Holy Warrior Spellcasting table. Whenever that number increases, choose additional spells from the Cleric spell list until the number of spells on your list matches the number on the table. The chosen spells must be of a level for which you have spell slots. For example, if you’re a level 7 Fighter, your list of prepared spells can include five Wizard spells of levels 1 and 2 in any combination.

Changing Your Prepared Spells. Whenever you finish a Long Rest, you can change your prepared spells.

Spellcasting Ability. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for your Cleric spells.

Spellcasting Focus. You can use a Holy Symbol as a Spellcasting Focus for your Cleric spells.

Level 3: Divine Channel

Choose whether your deity allows you to channel Radiant or Necrotic energy.  This determines the type of energy your granted powers deal.

Also your deity prohibits you from casting spells dealing damage of the opposite damage type.

Necrotic Channel

Your deity allows you to channel Necrotic energy.

Radiant Channel

Your deity allows you to channel Radiant energy.

Level 3: Blessed Weapon

You learn a ritual that allows you to infuse one weapon with your deity's blessing. You perform the ritual over the course of 1 hour, which can be done during a Short Rest. The weapon must be within your reach throughout the ritual, at the conclusion of which you touch and bless the weapon. The blessing fails if another character is mystically tied to the weapon or if the weapon is a magic item to which someone else is attuned.

Once you have blessed a weapon, you can’t be disarmed of that weapon unless you have the Incapacitated condition. You can use the weapon as a Spellcasting focus. You can also use a shield bearing your deity's emblem as a Spellcasting focus.

You can only have one weapon blessed in this way at a time.

Level 7: War Magic

When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can replace one of the attacks with a casting of one of your Cleric cantrips that has a casting time of an action.

Level 10: Shared Blessing

When you use your Indomitable feature, your deity also grants all of your allies within 30 feet a bonus on their next saving throw equal to your Fighter level.  This blessing fades with time, and if not used within 10 minutes the bonus is lost.

Level 15: Divine Vengeance

When you use your Second Wind ability, each creature of your choice that is within 30 feet takes Radiant or Necrotic damage (depending on Divine Channel) equal to 2d6 plus your Proficiency modifier, and each has the Blinded condition until the end of the current turn.

Level 18: Improved War Magic

When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can replace two of the attacks with a casting of one of your level 1 or level 2 Cleric spells that has a casting time of an action.
