Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks of the Way of Resolve are beings of brute-force, treating every altercation like it may be there last. They call upon their grit to persevere, consume Ki to support their impositions,  and are known for falling only when every last ounce of their will has been spent.

Enforcer

3rd–Level Way of Resolve

You gain Proficiency in Charisma (Intimidation) and Strength (Athletics) skill checks. If you are already Proficient in either of these skills then you gain Proficiency in another skill of your choice.

Unyielding Grit

3rd–Level Way of Resolve

You learn how to tap into your primal will to live. As an action, you can regain Hit Points equal to one roll of your Martial Arts die plus your Monk level. When you use this action, it counts as making an Unarmed Strike with the attack action for the purpose of martial arts and your Flurry of Blows feature. Once you use this feature you can not use it again until you complete a Short Rest or Long Rest.

One–Two Combo

6th–Level Way of Resolve

One per turn, when you hit a target with an Unarmed Strike you can add one of the following effects:

  • Grab. The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against your Ki save DC. On a failed save, the target is Grappled by you.
  • Knee Kick. The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw against your Ki save DC. On a failed save, the target is knocked Prone.
  • Temple Punch. The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw against your Ki save DC. On a failed save, the target has disadvantage on all attack rolls until the start of your next turn.
  • Throat Chop. The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw against your Ki save DC. On a failed save, the target is unable to speak or use any Verbal components for spells until the start of your next turn.

Deadly Fortitude

11th–Level Way of Resolve

When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can instead roll a number of d8s equal to your Proficiency bonus. You instead drop to a number of Hit Points equal to the total rolled. Once you use this feature you cannot use it again until you complete a Long Rest.

Subjugation

17th–Level Way of Resolve

Creatures that are the same size category as you or smaller have disadvantage on their saving throws against your One–Two Combo feature. You also have advantage on all Charisma (Intimidation) and Strength (Athletics) skill checks.
