Base Class: Wizard
Madman, stubborn, careless, heroic- these are just some of the things dragonwyrd mages are called. Dragonwyrds- magical relics that are formed from the remains of mighty dragons- are rare arcane focuses known to impart tremendous durability to their wielders. Working with a dragonwyrd takes ingenuity and a certain force of intellect, and this- coupled with the difficulty in obtaining the raw materials- is what keeps many from pursuing this tradition. Despite these challenges, the skills needed to work a dragonwyrd often carry over into other areas of a mage's expertise. It is often said that a dragonwyrd means trouble, for the bearer and those around them, because the wielders have a habit of getting drawn into dangerous quests and research. But should you stick to this tradition, you will be more than capable of withstanding the trials that inevitably come.
