Maybe one day you made a god hate you by killing all of his followers, maybe a Lich tried to curse you because of fear, or maybe your anger was so strong that it became a curse to whoever showed in your path. Don't matter the origin, the only thing you know next was that your blade was glowing in dark energy and humans were raising of the ground without skin.

You can now feel the death in the battlefield, you know the hate of the soldiers, the fear of the villagers and the despair of the ones that face you head on.
