Base Class: Fighter
As a part of the Order of Will, the Starspears have learned to channel the most ancient form of energy itself. As a result, they both enhance their combat abilities and acquire entire new ways to make themselves noticed on the battlefield. Starspears live in a world of control. They must first rid themselves of unnecessary thoughts to achieve absolute concentration and thus control their surroundings. They combine aggressive and defensive techniques to protect allies, eliminate threats and establish dominance.
Standing Light
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, whenever you are required to add your Dexterity Modifier to your Armor Class, you can instead add your Strenght Modifier.
Inner Spear
Starting at 3rd level, you learn how to channel your inner spear. As a bonus action on your turn, you can call forth a yellow glowing spear that enables you to manipulate the battlefield around you in one of three ways:
Falling Spear: A spear strikes down from above hitting a target within 5-feet range, reducing the targets movement speed to 0 until the end of its next turn.
Dragging Spear: You throw a spear from which a chain extends at a target within 10 feet range and drag it 5 feet in any direction other than away from you.
Sweeping Spear: A spear extends in one of your hands and you sweep around to knock everyone in a 5-foot radius prone.
You also make an attack roll adding your strength and proficiency modifier against one target hit to deal 1d4 radiant damage. This damage increases when you reach certain levels in this class, increasing to 1d8 at 10th level and 1d12 at 15th level.
You can use this feature three times, and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest.
Clear Sky
Starting at 7th level, your absolute focus and concentration allow you to always have an overview of the situation in battle. You have advantage on Intelligence (Investigation) and Wisdom (Perception) checks once you roll Initiative.
Your self-control also causes you to gain proficiency in Wisdom saving throws. If you already have this proficiency, you instead gain proficiency in Intelligence or Constitution saving throws (your choice).
Rising Star
Starting at 10th level, when you roll initiative and have no uses of Inner Spear remaining, you regain one use.
Focused Mind
Starting at 15th level, your superior focus allows you to almost always strike the enemy. If you take the Attack action on your turn and do not hit a single attack you can make an additional weapon attack against that target, as part of the same action.
Concentrated Comet
Once per long rest, you can leap 20 feet into the sky and then charge toward a location within 60 feet. While flying towards your new location you can make a melee weapon attack against any target within a 5-foot radius of your final destination. Upon leaping towards the sky you knock every creature within melee attack range of you prone.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
