Base Class: Barbarian
A spirit of vengeance burns within you—an infernal force born from divine wrath and hellish punishment. Whether you were chosen, cursed, or desperate, this spirit now rides with you, erupting in flame and fury to punish the wicked.
Mantle of the Ghostrider
3rd-level Path of the Ghostrider feature
When you rage, you may choose to assume the form of the Ghostrider. While raging in this form:
- You gain resistance to fire and necrotic damage.
- You are also treated as a fiend for the purpose of spells and effects that interact with fiends.
- When you hit with a melee weapon attack, it deals an additional 1d4 fire damage (increases to 1d6 at 6th level and 1d8 at 10th level).
- As an action you may make an Intimidation check, the target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your intimidation roll or be stunned until the end of your next turn.
Vengeful Trigger. If you witness innocent blood spilled, you immediately enter a rage (if not already raging) and must target the aggressor. This rage counts against your normal uses.
Brazen Steed
6th-level Path of the Ghostrider feature
You can summon an infernal mount as an action. It resembles a nightmare or other beast appropriate to your culture (Warhorse, Mastiff, Pony, or Worg) and has the following traits:
- 100 ft. additonal movement speed.
- Immune to fire damage.
- Deals an extra 1d8 fire damage with its attacks.
- Gains bonus HP equal to twice your barbarian level.
- Its AC increases by 2.
- Only you can ride it. Other creatures take 1d6 fire damage each turn while riding it.
It lasts until dismissed (no action), reduced to 0 HP, or you fall unconscious or die. You may resummon it using an action. Only one can exist at a time. Mounted Fury. While mounted, you have advantage on attack rolls against unmounted creatures. Bound Mount. You can perform a 1-hour ritual to bind a physical mount to you. As a bonus action, you can transform it into your Brazen Steed. If it dies, you can resurrect it during a long rest with 100 gp in materials.
Greater Mantle of the Ghostrider
10th-level Path of the Ghostrider feature
Your Ghostrider form grows more powerful. While raging in this form:
- You are immune to fire and necrotic damage.
- While not raging, you have resistance to fire damage.
- Your walking speed increases by 10 feet.
- If you drop to 0 HP and are not killed outright, you drop to 1 HP instead, and your rage continues. This can occur once per long rest.
- Your Strength and Constitution scores each increase by 2, to a maximum of 22.
Absolute Vengeance

- You can’t be charmed, frightened, or paralyzed.
