Monk
Base Class: Monk

You have practiced the dark arts in your prayers. Studying the ways of witchcraft, you gain the ability to use pact magic, and are pacted with the life force that is your ki.

You can utilize the power of spell slots, and ki, both to different extents. Most tend to use this power for the purposes of evil, but some may give themselves to darkness to save others.

Pact Magic

Starting at 3rd level, you have gained pact magic. It works as the table follows.

You regain spell slots after a long rest, and learn spells from the warlock spell list. When you level up, you can exchange one spell of 1st level or higher for another one from the spell list.

Self to Darkness

Starting at 6th level, you can now turn ki into a spell slot. You can turn 5 ki points into a spell slot of the level you have. This can be used once per long rest.

Boon of the Witch

At 11th level, you gain the power to channel something new from within yourself. You can pick from pact of the blade, pact of the chain, and pact of the tome.

Pact of the Blade

You gain the ability to conjure a weapon out of magical energy. It takes an action to conjure the weapon, and counts as a monk weapon which you are proficient in. Charisma can be used instead of strength or dexterity when making attack and damage rolls.

When the weapon is used, you can spend a ki point to allow you to add your wisdom modifier to the damage roll. Whenever you make a ranged weapon, you can spend a ki point to make a piece of ammo for the weapon, which disappears after it hits or misses.

You may also perform a 1 hour long ritual to have a magical weapon become the weapon you summon. You can do the ritual again to unbind the weapon.

Pact of the Chain

You gain the ability to cast find familiar, and to cast it as a ritual. You have an expanded list of forms it can be summoned as, listed as following: imp, pseudodragon, quasit, or sprite.

You may spend as many ki points as you wish to heal the familiar for 2 hit points per ki point, as long as it is within 100 feet of you.

Pact of the Tome

You can summon a book called a book of shadows. You can choose 3 cantrips from any class that will be written down in the book. The cantrips can be from any classes spell list, and not all from the same one. These do not count against your number of cantrips known

You may spend 3 ki points to take a page out of the book to infuse it with the magic of a ritual spell of 1st level from any class. You can only cast the spell as a ritual, and the page then burns up. This can be used 3 times per long rest. Any pages not used burn up after a short or long rest.

If you lose your book of shadows, you can preform a 1 hour ritual to create a new one, with the same cantrips, and the old one burns up.

Mystic Arcanum (5th level)

Beginning at 17th level, you gain a magical power called a mystic arcanum. You can pick a 5th level spell from the sorcerer spell list, that you have the ability to cast without material components or a spell slot, once per long rest.
