Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

You are a vessel of the Entity, a cosmic force of dread and torment. It whispers in your mind, guiding your wrath toward chosen prey. Your rage is not just anger—it is a hunt. When battle is joined, your presence alone chills the blood of the bold.

Level 3 - Terror Radius

Your wrath radiates like a dreadful heartbeat, a palpable presence that unsettles all who feel it.

  • While raging, you emit a Terror Radius—a zone of dread centered on you. The radius begins at 10 feet and increases as you gain levels in this class:

    • 10 ft. at 3rd level

    • 20 ft. at 6th level

    • 30 ft. at 10th level

    • 40 ft. at 14th level

  • Terror Sense: While raging, you can sense the presence of any creature within your Terror Radius that is not behind total cover, even if they are hidden or invisible.

  • Oppressive Presence: When a hostile creature starts its turn within your Terror Radius, it has disadvantage on its next attack roll or ability check made before the end of its turn.

Level 3 - Obsession

The Entity marks a specific target for you to torment.

  • When you rage, choose one creature you can see: they become your Obsession.

  • While your Obsession is within your Terror Radius, you gain advantage on attack rolls against them and they have disadvantage on skill checks to escape or contest your grapples.

  • You may only have one Obsession at a time. If your Obsession dies or falls unconscious, you may choose a new one as a bonus action.

Level 6 - Brutal Strength

Your grasp is iron, and your stride unbroken. Once you have your prey, they’re not getting away—and you don’t need both hands to end them.

  • While raging, grappling a Medium or smaller creature no longer reduces your movement speed.

  • Additionally, you can wield a two-handed melee weapon in one hand while grappling a creature with the other. While doing so, you have disadvantage on attack rolls made with that weapon unless the attack is against the grappled creature.

Level 6 - Hooked

You've learned to trap and torment your prey.

  • You can manifest Spectral Hooks once per long rest. As an action, you may cause one Hook to appear in an unoccupied space within 30 feet of you for 1 hour. While within 5 feet of a Hook, you can use your bonus action to make a contested Strength (Athletics) check against a grappled creature. On a success, you impale them on the Hook.

  • A creature on a Hook is restrained, takes 2d6 psychic damage at the start of each of their turns, and cannot be moved unless freed by another creature with an action and a successful Strength check (DC = 8 + Proficiency Bonus + Strength Modifier).

  • Only one Hook can exist at a time. The Hook vanishes if you fall unconscious or die.

Level 10 - Relentless Pursuit

Your fury bends the space around your prey.

  • While raging and moving toward your Obsession, your movement ignores difficult terrain and you can move through non-magical obstacles as if they were difficult terrain (e.g., fences, furniture, light cover).

  • If you end your movement within 5 feet of your Obsession, you can make a single melee attack as a bonus action.

  • Additionally your Rage Damage is doubled against your Obsession

Level 14 - Entity’s Grasp

The Entity’s influence extends beyond your immediate presence, warping reality to prevent escape.

  • While raging, enemies within your Terror Radius can’t take the Disengage action or teleport (via spells or class features) unless they first succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Constitution modifier). On a failed save, the action or effect fails and is wasted.

  • Additionally, you can use your reaction when a creature within your Terror Radius attempts to move more than 5 feet. That creature must make a Strength saving throw (same DC). On a failure, the Entity lashes out—its spectral claws erupt from the ground, reducing the creature's speed to 0 and dealing 4d6 psychic damage.
