Base Class: Monk
Those who choose to train in The Way of Stone shape their bodies and minds through relentless endurance, channeling the ancient strength of the earth itself. Forged in harsh landscapes or sacred stone monasteries, they train not for speed, but for resilience—becoming immovable and unshakable in both will and form. They become living bastions, unyielding in battle and eternal as the mountains.
Earth Molded Technique.
When a creature makes an attack roll against you, you can spend 1 ki point to activate your Flurry of Blows as a reaction, choosing one of the following options:
Seismic Deflection: Roll your Martial Arts die and subtract the result from the attack roll. If this causes the attack to miss you may either: Hold your second Flurry of Blows strike to use against another attack from the same creature during this turn or to immediately make one unarmed strike as part of the same reaction. If the attack still hits, you may use your second Flurry of Blows strike to attempt to deflect another attack this turn.
Echoing Brace Roll your Martial Arts die and reduce the damage of the incoming attack by the result. You may roll both of your Flurry of Blows dice to reduce a single attack’s damage. If the damage is reduced to 0 with just roll of your Flurry of Blows you may either: Hold your second strike to reduce another damage instance from the same creature this turn or Gain temporary hit points equal to your Martial Arts die + Wisdom modifier.
When using this ability you cannot use flurry of blows until the end of your next turn.
Body of Bedrock
You may spend 1 ki point as a bonus action to harden your form like living stone. Until the start of your next turn, you gain a +1 to AC along with a +1 to attack rolls and damage rolls.
At 11th level, this bonus increases to +2, as well as when you have entered this stance you can make an opportunity attack when a creature leaves your melee range as well as comes within it, however this opportunity attack is a free action and does not use your reaction.
Iron Will
When you fail a saving throw against a spell or magical effect, you can use your reaction and spend 2 ki points to roll your Martial Arts die and add the result to the saving throw, possibly turning the failure into a success. You can use this feature a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus (rounded down), regaining all uses on a short rest or long rest.
Unbreakable Momentum
You may now use Flurry of Blows as a reaction and still use it again on your next turn as a bonus action, even if you’ve already used it this round.
Stance of the Unshaken Mountain
Your earthen training has made it so you are resistant to being moved against your will unless you choose to be.
When standing on natural ground, you have advantage on Strength and Dexterity saving throws against effects that would move or knock you prone. Additionally you have advantage on saving throws against an effect that would teleport you against your will.
Bastion of the Core.
Starting at 17th level, you can channel the unyielding force of the earth into your body, becoming a living bastion. As an action, you can enter a hardened stance that lasts for 1 minute. While in this stance, you gain the following benefits:
Empowered Flurry: Whenever you use your Flurry of Blows, whether as a bonus action or as a reaction with Earth Molded Techniques, you roll one additional Martial Arts die per use (Ex If attacking, roll an extra die for damage once. If reducing an attack roll or damage, roll an extra die once per reaction.)
Earthen Reprisal: When a creature hits you with a melee attack, it takes bludgeoning damage equal to twice your Wisdom modifier (minimum 2).
Crack the Shell: Your unarmed strikes score a critical hit on a roll of 18–20.
You can activate this stance once per long as an action or by spending ki points depending on how many benefits you choose to gain 5 ki points: Gain only Empowered Flurry. 6 ki points: Gain Empowered Flurry and Earthen Reprisal. 7 ki points: Gain all three benefits.
