While in this state, as a Magic action, you may expend 3 Focus Points to channel lightning through your body and out from your fingertips in a 100 foot long, 5 foot wide line, dealing 8d6 Lightning damage.
Level 17: Like a Flash of Lightning
You may expend an extra 5 Focus Points when you activate your Fulgorous Ascension, or as a Bonus Action while it is active to briefly attain the full speed of a lightning bolt, causing it to seem as if time is standing still for everyone but you. No time passes for other creatures, while you take 1d4 + 1 turns in a row, during which you can use actions and move as normal.
If you attack another creature during one of these turns, it is a guaranteed Critical Hit and deals an additional 5d10 Lightning damage. Upon dealing damage to another creature, or the number of turns rolled have ended, this effect also ends, and a loud thunderclap emits from the path you traveled that can be heard up to 500 feet away.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.

Posted Feb 26, 2026This subclass is great but "Like a Flash of Lightning" is way, way too strong. Just having an extra turn would be enough
