Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

You have a broken heart, like an inferno burning you from the inside out, drumming and thrumming like an engine straight from the Hells. It fuels your rage, but you know that one day it will be the death of you. Whether you have a literal infernal engine as a heart, or just a metaphorical one powered by your out-of-control emotions, either way the fire is quite real. When you walk this path, you learn to take that which has caused you so much pain, and use it to your benefit.

(Inspired by Karlach.)

Level 3: Running Hot

When you choose this path at level 3, you are already too hot to handle. You gain Resistance to fire damage if you didn't have it already.

Level 3: Fire and Fury

When you enter your Rage, your body is enveloped in flames that can burn anyone or anything unlucky enough to be around you. All creatures within 5ft of you as you enter your rage automatically take 1d4 fire damage. Additionally all flammable objects in the surrounding area are ignited if not being worn or carried.

Level 3: Wildfire

You are too hot to handle. Your Rage literally envelopes you in flame, shedding bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet.

While you are Raging, all of your melee weapon attacks (including unarmed strikes) deal an additional 1d4 fire damage.

Additionally, if a creature within 5 feet of you hits you with a melee attack while you are raging, there is an immediate backlash of flame, and the attacker takes 1d4 fire damage.

Level 6: Firebrand

As your Rage keeps burning, and your fires grow hotter, the heat coming off you are your weapon becomes white hot.

Starting at 10th level, all fire damage you deal to target creatures overcomes Resistance to (but not Immunity to) fire damage.

Level 10: Eruption Reaction

While Raging, you can use your Reaction to cast Hellish Rebuke on any creature that damages you with a melee weapon attack. You may take this Reaction once per rage. Constitution is your spell casting ability for the spell cast in this way.

Level 14: Explosion

You have learned to control your Rage rather than have it control you. While you are in a Rage, you can release all of your pent up aggression and heat all at once. You can choose to end your Rage early and cast Fireball at 5th level, centered on yourself, without requiring any spell components.

Constitution is your spell casting ability for this spell. Your Danger Sense class ability gives you Advantage on the Dexterity save required by this spell, even if you are blinded or deafened, as you are the one that cast it.
