Ranger
Base Class: Ranger

Wardens of the snow and winter wilds, these rangers are adept at the biting winds and cutting hail of their environment. Able to traverse the blinding blizzards and some even say summon them, these rangers can exist as harbingers of disaster or the saviors from them.

Frost's Kiss

3rd-level Frozen Spirit feature

You can augment your weapon strikes with a freezing bite, drawn from the winds of winter. When you hit a creature with a weapon, you can deal an extra 1d6 cold damage to the target, which can take this extra damage only once per turn.

The extra damage increases to 1d8 when you reach 11th level in this class.

Frozen Spirit Magic

3rd-level Frozen Spirit feature

You learn an additional spell when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown in the Frozen Spirit Spells table. Each spell counts as a ranger spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of ranger spells you know.

Winter's Bite

7th-level Frozen Spirit feature

As an action you create a 10 ft radius aura centered on yourself for 1 minute. While in this aura, you gain a +2 to your AC as an icy sheen engulfs your body. All enemies that move through the aura as if it were difficult terrain. You can use this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

Icy Accomplice

11th-level Frozen Spirit feature

You pull the winter winds together to fight along side you: you  know Summon Elemental. It doesn’t count against the number of ranger spells you know, and you can cast it without a material component.  You can use this ability twice per day without using a spell slot as an action.  When used this way, the spell does not require concentration and lasts the full hour or until dismissed as an action.  The elemental summoned this way must be water and appears as a snow or icy body.

Frozen Ghost

15th-level Frozen Spirit feature

You become immune to Cold Damage.  As an action, you generate a 60 ft radius blizzard centered on you. You must concentrate on the blizzard as if it were a spell and it lasts 10 minutes. While in this blizzard, you have the Invisible condition, allies gain advantage on stealth checks, and enemies take 1D10 Cold and 1D6 bludgeoning damage.  You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
