Base Class: Fighter
Characters with this subclass manifest the Red Mist E.G.O, replacing their armour with their mind given form. In rest the E.G.O looks like an enchanted leather jacket, but during combat it can be activated, revealing it s true form and granting imense power. Using the true form of the E.G.O requires the courage to protect.
Level 3: Base E.G.O Manifestation
The E.G.O in it's base form looks like a leather jacket. It acts like Studded Leather, granting the character 12 + Dex modifier AC.
Your AC increases by 1 at level 7,10,15 and 18.

Level 3: True E.G.O Manifestation
Once per short rest the wielder can choose to manifest their true E.G.O next turn, this replaces an attack action and grants the user the benefits of dodge. The E.G.O now takes the form of a black metallic bodysuit with blood red cracks, all converging in a pool of blood at the center of the face. This armour envelopes the entirety of the wielder.
When active this grants the wielder the following extra effects:
- Strength is increased by 2.
- For every creature killed during the manifestation, gain 1 strength for the rest of combat (up to 5).
- You may add your strength modifier to armor class instead of the dexterity modifier.
- If the wielder fails to damage any creature during a round of combat or chooses to end the manifestation, it ends and the wielder is incapacitated for a turn.
- If combat ends while the E.G.O is manifested, the manifestation ends with no penalties.
The manifestation of true E.G.O requires one to fully dedicate themselves to their ideals, in the case of the Red Mist this is the Courage to Protect. If a friend or ally is abandoned while in this state, the wielder distorts and goes berserk and starts attacking the closest creature until the wielder fails to damage a creature during a round of combat, incapacitating them for one turn.
Level 15: True E.G.O Manifestation: Improved
The wielder no longer loses ends the manifestation of their E.G.O and gets incapacitated when they fail to do damage in a round of combat. No longer a limit on the amount of uses.
Level 7: Retaliate
When attacked, you can use your reaction to retaliate with a melee attack of your own if the enemy is within melee range.
Level 10: Focus Spirit
Replaces the attack action. You dodge and if you deal any damage during the rest of your turn, gain 3 strength next turn.
Level 18: The Strongest
You can use action surge anytime during combat and immediatly use the action granted by action surge, allowing you to act during another creature's turn.
