Storm's Breath

As a Bonus Action, you can expend a use of your Wild Shape to breath a 15-foot Cone that takes the form of tumultuous storm clouds that spew from the mouth for 1 minute. It ends early if you dismiss it (no action required), manifest it again, or have the Incapacitated condition. Alternatively, you can manifest an elemental entity that shares your space, while summoned this entity grants you the benefits of Blade Ward.

When you utilize this ability, as a Bonus Action on your subsequent turns, you can target another creature with the Cone. The target must succeed on either a Dexterity or Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC or take Thunder damage and, if the creature is Large or smaller, have their speed reduced by half and be Deafened until the start of your next turn. To determine this damage, roll a number of d6s equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum of one die).

Level 6: Ouranic Steps

The size of the Cone created by your Storm's Breath increases to 20 ft. Additionally creatures behind the Cone become lightly obscured.

In addition, you gain a Hover Speed equal to your Speed. When used in this way you can ignore the effects of difficult terrain. Additionally, you no longer need to breath and can no longer suffer from the negative effects of being at high, low, or extreme altitudes.

Furthermore, your elemental entity gains the ability to step away from you and gains form as though summoned from the options of the Find Familiar spell. This entity can grant Storm's Breath's alternate ability to entities within 10ft of it now upgraded to a d6.

Level 10: Cataclysmic

Your connection to the Storm is further strengthened.

After activating Storm's Breath, duration extended to 10 minutes, you gain the following effects,

Movement. You or your elemental entity gains a Fly and Burrow Speed equal to your Speed. When burrowing in this way a semi-permanent tunnel is cut into the ground. These tunnels can be trod by creatures of roughly the same size or smaller.

Elemental Wroth. Alongside Thunder damage, roll in the same way, your Storm's Breath deals an additional damage type: Fire, Cold, Lightning, Acid, or Poison. This damage is half you level plus your Wisdom modifier. Your elemental entity can cast the damage from Storm's Breath but will immediately dissipate afterwards unless another use of Wild Shape or equivalent Spell Slot is expended.

Resistance. You have Resistance to the chosen damage type along with Thunder damage.

Level 14: Storm Front

Instead of breathing the Cone of Storm's Breath you can instead choose one of the following options. You can use this feature once per Short Rest or Long Rest.

Four Corners: You can manifest Storm's Breath through a willing creature within 60 feet of yourself. That creature gains all the benefits of the Storm's Breath and uses your spell save DC and Wisdom modifier for it. In addition, you can breathe the Cone from both the other creature and yourself if you expend two uses of your Wild Shape instead of one when manifesting it.

Storm Wall: You create a number of conduits equal to half your proficiency bonus. These conduits appear within 60 ft of you, you decide where, and exist for the duration of Storm's Breath or until a Dispel Magic is cast on each of the conduits. These conduits create storm walls between them in a straight line granting Half Cover to, or Heavily Obscured if the sky is covered, to creatures on opposite sides and any creature passing through them must save for the effects of Storm's Breath. Additionally, on a DC 20- half your Druid level wisdom test you may attempt to cast Storm's Breath effects in a 10 ft radius emanation from one of these conduits or cast a storm circle spell from them.

When Dispel Magic is cast on a Conduit it must beat your spell save DC. A dispelled conduit cannot be reconstituted, and the line either shifts straight if between two conduits, but not between connecting conduits if the line to the next conduit is lost.

Waves and Sky: You emanate a roiling mass of clouds and churning earth or water creating a 10 ft emanation of difficult terrain around you. Whenever you move the emanation moves with you and the area where you previously were that is now outside the emanation becomes worn and smooth or roughed. Additionally, all creatures within earshot have disadvantage on influence checks against you or from you, and must save against your Spell Save DC or become either [Tooltip Not Found] or [Tooltip Not Found] by you.
