Base Class: Fighter
“Oh Yeah, It's All Coming Together.” - Kronk
Level 3: Third Eye
You gain advantage on insight checks, darkvision out to 60ft and can ignore the blinded condition. At 7th level the range increases to 90ft and you also gain advantage on perception checks. At 15th level your darkvision is replaced by truesight.
Level 3: Precognition
You gain a number of Precognition charges equal to your proficiency bonus. You can expend a charge to dodge as a bonus action and regain charges on a short rest.
Level 10: Omnivident
At 10th level, you can expend 3 charges of precognition to project your third eye onto the world. As an action choose a point within 100 ft of you that you can see, 120 ft above that space a huge glowing eye forms. The eye can see everything within a 120 ft sphere of the point you chose and you gain the following effects:
- You no longer gain the benefits of your third eye feature and you see through the eye, gaining the same benefits as the eye, outside of the sphere you are blinded.
- The eye has dark vision, true sight and tremorsense within the sphere, it can also see through any obstructions at the DM’s discretion, such as the ground or cover, as if they were partially transparent.
- You can freely dodge as a reaction to an attack roll being made against you within the sphere.
The eye lasts for one minute or until you close it with a bonus action, you cannot use this feature again until you take a long rest.
Level 15: Identification
You can cast a modified version of identify at will. When you cast identify it now has a range of 60 ft and takes an action to cast.
Level 18: Fate's Chain
You can now see brief but detailed glimpses of the future. As a free action, expend 2 precognition charges and choose a creature you can see. If the creature is in combat the creature must decide what it will do on its next turn in advance, the DM will tell you everything that creature is going to do on its next turn. The description can’t be vague or open ended in what it will do exactly: such as “The knight is going to attack you” and needs to be descriptive: “The knight is going to move 20 ft forward and use its action to attack you with a greatsword, then end it’s turn” The target cannot change their course of action after their fate has been predicted, if the target is unable to do so (due to being restrained or you moved further or closer than the predicted range) then it will end its turn early after doing whatever it could that was predicted: “since you moved out of it’s predicted 20 ft walking distance, the knight charges forward 20 ft and attacks the empty space you were once in”. If you use this on a creature out of combat then you can learn a general piece of information about what they have done in the past or what they will do in the relevant future based on the DMs discretion and what you want to know.
