Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

This barbarian takes clear inspiration from the Monk Subclass in the way it deals unarmed damage and, but with the twist of being much more aggressive and capable of dealing great quantities of damage at a cost to the flexibility and defensive options that the Monk offers. A Belligerent Barbarian can deliver four brutal strikes at higher levels, each gaining higher bonus modifiers that can make the bulk of the damage, but a Monk can dodge the barrage of attacks easier than a Belligerent Barbarian can dodge an incapacitating blow from a Monk's quick and rapid strikes. It is intentional that the two classes are meant to collide, and have conflict with one another. Regardless of how you wish to view it, the Belligerent Barbarian is ideal for those who prefer to let their fists fly in a barfight, than be arrested for pulling out a weapon. Have fun, and remember, teeth make excellent knuckle dusters.

Unarmed Blow

Starting at level 3, your unarmed attacks deal 1d4 bludgeoning damage, plus your Strength Bonus, and can use your bonus action to make an offhand attack with your unarmed attack after you have attacked using your action, unless you are using a weapon with the Heavy, or Two-handed property, or have a weapon in each hand. If you are attacking while raging, you make two extra attack as a bonus action instead of one, or one if you are using a weapon with the Heavy, or Two-handed property, or have a weapon in each hand.

Your Unarmed strikes increase in damage to 1d6 at level 5, 1d8 at level 11, and 1d10 at level 17. These benefits do not function if you wear armour or a shield.

Retaliating Block

At level 6, if you are benefiting from Unarmed Blows, you can use your reaction to block a melee weapon or unarmed attack within 5 feet of you that you can see, adding your strength modifier to your Armour Class. If the attack misses, you immediately make an unarmed strike on the target. If you are raging, add your Rage Damage to your Armour Class as well.

Overwhelming Blow

At level 10, You can choose to sacrifice one of your attack rolls on your Attack Action to strike a creature that is not an undead or construct. If you hit, the target must succeed on a Constitution Saving throw (8 + Strength Modifier + Proficiency Bonus.) or be stunned until the end of your next turn. The damage type must be Bludgeoning, and this may only be activated once a round.

Brutal Strikes

At level 14, you count rolls of 19 and 20 as critical hits when calculating attacks with unarmed attacks, additionally, while raging, you gain 10 temporary hitpoints when you critically hit a creature.
