Paladins who swear the Oath of Fusion are warriors reborn in flame — champions of radiant power drawn not from gods, but from the primal, inexorable force of nuclear fusion. They believe that the fall of the old world was not an end, but a purification — a necessary reaction to burn away decadence, corruption, and decay. In the smoldering wake of apocalypse, they have taken up the mantle of stewards, guardians, and heralds of a new age.
Where others see the atom as a symbol of ruin, Fusion Paladins see the core truth: within the smallest spark lies the power to shape a new dawn. They are walking reactors — controlled, focused, and unimaginably powerful — balancing destructive might with the solemn responsibility to protect what remains. Every oath they swear is a binding reaction between faith and fury, heat and hope, annihilation and rebirth.
Their radiance is not merely metaphor. Fusion Paladins glow with inner light, pulse with heat, and carry the scent of ozone and scorched earth. Their presence is a warning and a blessing — stand too close, and you may be burned. But stand behind them, and you will witness the rising of a better world.
Whether clad in scavenged armor or powered by lost technology, these Paladins are not bound to ancient temples or crumbling thrones. Their altar is the reactor. Their scripture is physics. Their miracle is fusion.
Channel Divinity: Fusion Flare
Energy can create light. Sometimes that light is really, really bright.
As an action you emit a blinding pulse of light from your Holy Symbol. Each creature of your choice within 30 ft. of you must make a Constitution saving throw or be blinded for 1 minute.
Oath Spells
You gain spells respective to your Paladin Oath.

Aura of Containment
You emit an aura of shielding. Something to lock down the harsher effects of a breach.
Starting at 7th level, you and friendly creatures within 10 ft. of you gain a protective resonance from within. When an ally within this aura takes damage from a melee attack, the attacker takes radiant damage equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum 1).
In addition, allies within your aura gain resistance to fire and radiant damage, as your energy field dampens external surges.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 ft.
Containment Protocol
Your mastery over your internal reactor has reached its peak — you can now project that stabilizing force onto others in moments of dire need.
When you or a friendly creature within 30 ft. of you takes damage that would reduce them to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to instead cause them to drop to 1 hit point, and they gain temporary hit points equal to your paladin level.
Additionally, when you use this feature, both you and the protected creature become immune to fire and radiant damage until the end of your next turn.
You can use this feature once per Long Rest or you can regain the use of this feature if you expend a Channel Divinity.
Fusion Core Ascendant
You channel the power of a fusion core through yourself and empower your capabilities with a vibrant but radioactive fervor.
For 1 minute, you gain the following benefits:
- You become immune to radiant and fire damage.
- Your melee weapon attacks deal an extra 2d8 radiant damage.
- You shed bright light in a 60-foot radius, and dim light for an additional 30 feet.
- You can use your Channel Divinity: Fusion Flare without expending a use.
You can't use this ability again until you finish a Long Rest.
