Base Class: Monk
The legendary warlord Tatsu Stonebreaker was a warrior so strong he could break boulders with his fists. When Tatsu retired from his long conquest he lived as a Monk and a loyal househusband to his beloved wife. Legend says this humble life allowed him to achieve inner peace and the height of his power. Way of the Househusband Monks follow in the footsteps of Tatsu, learning his techniques to protect their spouses and their households.
Level 3: Strength of Matrimony
The bonds of marriage have given you greater strength. You can use your Strength modifier in place of Dexterity for all Armor Class calculations, Dexterity saving throws, and Monk class features. You also gain proficiency with improvised weapons and the Intimidation skill. You always have Advantage on Intimidation checks if you are within 30 feet of your spouse.
Your spouse can either be an NPC described by you when you gain this feature or another player character that has agreed to be your spouse. If you want to change who your spouse is you can do so once each time you gain a level in this class, but you can only ever have one spouse.
Level 3: Ruthless Caregiver
You protect those close to you and punish those seeking to harm them. You gain proficiency in the Medicine and Survival skills. As a Bonus Action you can use a Healer's Kit on an injured ally within 5 feet of you to restore a number of hit points equal to 2d8. If used on your spouse, you can add your Wisdom modifier to this healing.
If an enemy is within 5 feet of an ally you heal using a Healer's Kit, you can make an unarmed strike against that enemy as part of the same Bonus Action. This attack is made with Advantage and you can push the target 10 feet away from you if it is Large or smaller.
Level 6: Unstoppable Housekeeping
Your skills as a housekeeper can be applied in battle. You can expend 1 Focus Point as a Bonus Action to move up to 30 feet without expending your movement or provoking opportunity attacks. While moving in this way you automatically remove all effects in your path that create difficult terrain, and you are immune to the effects of difficult terrain and other effects that reduce your movement speed. Additionally, while moving in this way you can effortlessly pickup and stash any items that are on the ground in your path if you have a free hand. Interacting with an item in this way does not count as an object interaction.
Level 6: Warrior's Lunchbox
You never let your loved ones go without a meal. When you finish a Long Rest you can use ingredients and Cook's Utensils to create a number of boxed lunches equal to your Proficiency Bonus. You or an ally with the boxed lunch can quickly eat the lunch as a Bonus Action to heal for 2d8 + your Proficiency Bonus. This healing increases to 4d8 when you reach 11th level in this class. The hit points restored are maximized if the lunch is eaten during a Short Rest. Unused boxed lunches lose their effects at the end of your next Long Rest.
Level 11: Lover's Trance
Your intense romantic feelings for your spouse give you power. At the start of your turn you can expend 5 Focus Points to enter a special trance for 1 minute. While in this trance you become empowered by thoughts of your spouse, gaining a +2 bonus to your Armor Class and deal additional damage with your unarmed strikes equal to your Proficiency Bonus. While the trance persists you cannot take Reactions, and you have Disadvantage on Intelligence and Wisdom saving throws as your mind is clouded by your romantic thoughts.
The trance ends early if you are Charmed, Frightened, Incapacitated, or fall Unconscious. You can end the trance early at any time during your turn (no Action required). Once you use this feature you must finish a Short or Long Rest to use it again.
Level 17: Mighty Household
You've become the ultimate guardian and support system for your household. You gain the following benefits when you are near a member of your household. Your household consists of your spouse and your party members.
Strength of Family. While you are within 20 feet of a household member you can direct them to attack an enemy that you attack using Flurry of Blows or Ruthless Caregiver (no Action required). The attack they make is made with Advantage and can either be made with a weapon or a Cantrip.
Power Couple. While you are within 10 feet of your spouse you grant them the effects of Half Cover, Advantage on all saving throws and ability checks, and immunity to the Charmed and Frightened conditions.

Posted May 17, 2025It's been almost a year since I created the original version and I have a bit more experience making Homebrew now. So I figured I'd give this one a facelift.
Two Design Notes:
Overall, it's a strong subclass but it's meant to be a silly Manga-inspired fun time. You should give it a try if you love Monks and have a campaign that is less serious. I hope you enjoy it.
