Base Class: Paladin
Tenets of the Madam
Though each Brothel Madam may differ in philosophy, paladins who swear this oath uphold these tenets:
-
Power in Poise: Whether in chains or on a throne, control is an illusion — and mine to command.
-
Pain is a Gift: To hurt is to feel. To endure is to dominate.
-
Protection is Sacred: All who kneel in safety under my roof are under my shield and my punishment.
-
Pleasure with Purpose: The sensual is sacred. The flesh is the gateway to divinity.
Oath of the Brothel Madam Features
| Paladin Level | Features |
|---|---|
| 3rd | Channel Divinity, Aura of Allure |
| 7th | Submissive Resilience |
| 15th | Dominant Retaliation |
| 20th | Avatar of the Crimson Room |
Channel Divinity (3rd level)
You gain the following Channel Divinity options:
-
Commanding Presence: As an action, you force each creature of your choice within 30 feet that can see or hear you to make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, creatures are charmed or frightened (your choice) for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the save at the end of each of its turns. This effect ends early if you or your allies damage the creature.
-
Obedient Flesh: As a reaction when you take damage from a creature, you can expend your Channel Divinity to gain resistance to that damage type until the end of your next turn, and the attacker must make a Constitution saving throw or have disadvantage on all attack rolls against you until the end of their next turn.
Aura of Allure (3rd level)
Your commanding (or submissive) presence creates an intoxicating field. While you are conscious, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet gain a bonus to AC equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum +1) if not wearing armor or using a shield. This aura only applies while the target is wearing light or no clothing — think of it as the divine version of confidence and presence over protection.
At 18th level, the range increases to 30 feet.
Submissive Resilience (7th level)
You draw divine endurance from enduring pain. When you are hit by a melee attack, you can use your reaction to gain temporary hit points equal to half your paladin level + your Charisma modifier. You may use this reaction a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all uses after a long rest.
Dominant Retaliation (15th level)
Once per turn when a creature within 5 feet hits you with an attack, you can make a melee weapon attack against that creature as a reaction. If the attack hits, it deals extra radiant damage equal to your Charisma modifier.
Additionally, creatures affected by your Commanding Presence Channel Divinity cannot willingly move closer to you if frightened, or cannot move away from you if charmed.
Avatar of the Crimson Room (20th level)
You become the living embodiment of sacred dominance and holy surrender. As an action, you can transform for 1 minute, gaining the following benefits:
-
Your AC becomes 20 if not wearing armor or using a shield.
-
You are under the effects of both the Haste and Sanctuary spells (no concentration required).
-
You can use Commanding Presence as a bonus action on each of your turns without expending Channel Divinity.
-
Your weapon attacks deal an extra 1d8 radiant or psychic damage (your choice).
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
