Monk
Base Class: Monk

Use your words as well as your fists and inspire similarly to a Bard

Words of Wisdom

At 3rd level when you choose this Tradition, you gain proficiency in Charisma (Persuasion) checks and can add your Wisdom modifier to any Persuasion check you make.

Prophetic Inspiration

At 3rd level when you choose this Tradition you learn to impart your wisdom unto others. As a Bonus Action, while also expending 1 Ki Point, choose one creature other than yourself within 60 feet of you who can hear you. That creature gains one Prophetic Inspiration die, a d6. Once within the next 10 minutes, the creature can roll the die and add the number rolled to one ability check or saving throw it makes, but not an attack roll. The creature can wait until after it rolls the d20 before deciding to use the Prophetic Inspiration die, but must decide before the DM says whether the roll succeeds or fails. Once the Prophetic Inspiration die is rolled, it is lost. A creature can have only one Prophetic Inspiration die at a time.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (a minimum of once) and so long as you have a Ki Point to spend. You regain any expended uses when you finish a long rest. Your Inspiration die changes when you reach certain levels in this class. The die becomes a d8 at 7th level, a d10 at 12th and a d12 at 17th level.

Defensive Pacifism

At 6th level whenever you use Patient Defense, attacks against you also have a negative modifier equal to your Wisdom modifier.

Whenever you use Step of the Wind you can also have one creature within 5 feet of you move with you and using your speed as long as they use their reaction.

Whenever use Flurry of Blows as long as you hit with one of the attacks you can choose not to deal damage and instead force the creature to make a Charisma saving throw. On a fail they are considered under the effects of the Calm Emotions spell for 1 minute, so long as they can see you. You can have up to Wisdom modifier creatures under this effect.

Communal Karma

At 11th level whenever you use your Prophetic Inspiration you can expend an extra 2 Ki Points (total 3) and if you do another creature that can hear you within 30 feet of you gains a bonus to their next ability check or saving throw equal to your Wisdom modifier.

Soul of the Sacred Lotus

At 17th level your understanding of yourself reaches such a level of excellence that you may now pass your knowledge unto others. During a long rest you may grant one of your Monk Class Features to a number of creatures equal to your Wisdom modifier, provided you spend an hour imparting your wisdom unto your "acolytes". The feature remains until their next long rest or until otherwise stated. A creature may only be granted one of the following features and granting a feature does not mean you lose it.

The features you can choose from are: Slow Fall (the creature uses your monk level), Evasion, Stillness of Mind, Purity of Body, Tongue of Sun and Moon and Diamond Soul (they may reroll one failed save per round, up to their Wisdom modifier number of times to a minimum of 1).
