Bard
Base Class: Bard

Koyemshi are culturally very important to the pueblos of the Anabawquan. Sometimes, a bard who has taken the koyemshi subclass is referred to as having taken the college
of the clown, but rarely among native Hamdrithans.

As an integral part of Hamdrithan ceremonies, koyemshi are known to wear elaborate ceremonial costumes and masks, but they also wear traditional Hamdrithan clothing. The koyemshi gather in fraternities with hierarchies where standing is entirely merit-based on ability, dedication and seniority. They perform during festivals, acting the part of spirits (particularly mischievous ones), where they act out fantastic acrobatics and silly behaviour.

Koyemshi also have a serious purpose in expressing the strange whims of the unknown forces that exist within the Spirit Realm. They make the unknown understandable and
satisfy the psychological need to give human qualities to these unknown forces.

Level 3: Bonus Proficiencies

You gain proficiency in Acrobatics and Performance. When performing through dance, physical comedy, or mimicry, you can use your Dexterity modifier instead of your Charisma modifier for Performance checks.

Level 3: Evasive Dancing

Your movements are unpredictable, fluid, and spirit-touched. When you take the Disengage action on your turn, you can expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration to also take the Dash action as a bonus action.

Additionally, until the end of that turn, you can move through the spaces of creatures larger than you as if they were difficult terrain, slipping between them like a spirit on the wind.

Level 6: Buffoonery

While wearing a Koyemshi mask, you can draw on the power of spiritual mockery to confound your foes. As an action, you target one creature within 30 feet that can see and hear you. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC, or fall prone, overcome with uncontrollable laughter for up to 1 minute. The creature is incapacitated and unable to stand while laughing.

The target may repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success. This is a concentration effect. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all uses when you finish a long rest.

Level 14: Spiritual Inspiration

The spirits whisper through your mask, shielding you when you falter.

When you fail a saving throw and wear your Koyemshi mask, you can use your reaction to expend a Bardic Inspiration die. Roll the die and add twice the result to the saving throw. If this causes you to succeed, you also gain temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier.
