Ranger
Base Class: Ranger

Some spend their lives as adventurers. Some spend their lives as workers. Others spend their lives as nobles. Those are fine life choices, but not for you. You wanted to join a lifestyle that brings the constant thrill of avoiding and bringing death in equal measure. You chose to join the quick draw gang. This gang isn't full good or full evil. We live for the thrill of the duel. The gang thrives on going from town to town dueling for money or challenging others to an all-or-nothing duel. Some join adventurers and some join criminals or warlords, but most work alone. The only rules are that whatever winnings you earn you share with the gang, don't duel anyone so important they draw attention to the gang, and don't tell anyone about the gang or its hideout. If you are here you were invited here due to your skill and your reputation as a gunslinger. You will be trained and you will be tested as expected from every new recruit. Every disagreement is settled as expected from a gang like ours, and once you join you're in for life. Oh, and it should be fairly obvious that cheating and use of magic is highly encouraged. Welcome to the team, gunslinger.

Weapon of choice

At 3rd level you are granted a preferred dueling weapon that will act as your spellcasting focus. This will negate the verbal and somatic component of your spells as long as you use this weapon to cast spells. Should you cast spells while this weapon is not being used you will need verbal and somatic component. It is DMs choice what is considered using and not using the weapon.

Level 7: Dual wielding dualist

At 7th level you have learned to dual wield your weapon of choice otherwise known as Akimbo. You may only do this with one handed weapons unless your character is capable of wielding two handed weapons with one hand.

Level 7: Deadeye

At 7th level when you take one action in combat to study and opponent more thoroughly than necessary your next attack against them using your weapon of choice will be an automatic hit. If you take a full round of combat then your next attack will be a critical hit. You can do this three times per long rest.

Winging shot

Al 11th level when you use your deadeye to gain a hit on your opponent you can use this ability instead to target one limb of your choice. This will target the joint connecting the limb to the body and cause the limb to become unusable until that limb is repaired. You can do this 3 times per long rest.

Level 15: Deadzone

At 15th level you have mastered deadeye and winging shot to such a degree that you can now use this one time attack to fan fire your weapon of choice at 3 to 6 enemies at the same time to wound or kill them in one go. You can only use this once per long rest and once you do you lose deadeye and winging shot for that day. These attacks are the same as a winging or deadeye shot but for up to 6 enemies.
