Base Class: Barbarian
Warriors who walk the Path of the Shadowed Peak are children of the unforgiving North, whether Moredhel hardened by generations of strife and communion with harsh nature, or humans from the borderland clans who have adopted the brutal ways necessary for survival against both the elements and ancient foes. Their rage is not merely anger, but a deep, primal connection to the icy winds, the biting frost, the unyielding stone of their homelands, and the predatory spirits that dwell in the high, lonely places. They are relentless trackers, masters of ambush in broken terrain, their fury as sudden and devastating as an avalanche or a blizzard descending from a sunless peak. They carry the silence of the deep woods in their hearts and the ferocity of the winter wolf in their eyes, an embodiment of the raw, untamed spirit of lands that have never truly bent the knee to any southern king.

Ambush Predator
Starting at 6th Level:
- Predatory Strike: On your first turn of combat, if you aren't incapacitated, the first time you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, that attack deals an extra 1d10 cold damage. This extra damage increases when you reach higher levels in this class: to 2d10 at 10th level, and to 3d10 at 14th level.
- Wilderness Prowess: Additionally, you have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made while in mountain, arctic, or forest terrain. When you make a Wisdom (Survival) check to track creatures in these terrains, your proficiency bonus is doubled for that check if it isn't already.
Unyielding Heart of Stone
-
At 10th level:
- While raging, you have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, frightened, or magically put to sleep.
Fury of the North Wind
Starting at 14th level, when you enter your rage, or as a bonus action on a subsequent turn while raging, you can unleash a blast of chilling, spiritual fury reminiscent of a northern blizzard.
- Each creature of your choice within a 15-foot cone originating from you must make a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier). On a failed save, a creature takes cold damage equal to twice your barbarian level and its speed is reduced to 0 until the end of its next turn as spectral frost and biting winds momentarily encase it. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and its speed is not reduced.
- You can use this feature once per rage.
