Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Your patron can be fire itself, a sun, an ever burning pyre, a powerful being from the plane of fire or an otherwise fiery being.

This gives you access to the powerful heat they produce that can either aid or hinder those around you. Like the light of the sun, it both brings life and burns.

Level 3: Blazing Spells

The magic of your patron ensures you always have certain spells ready; when you reach a Warlock level specified in the Blazing Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.

BlazingSpells
Warlock Level Spells
3 Guiding Bolt, Faerie Fire, Scorching Ray, Spike Growth
5 Fireball, Daylight
7 Death Ward, Wall of Fire
9 Flame Strike, Mass Cure Wounds

Level 3: Burning bite

Whenever you damage a creature using one of your warlock cantrip, you may change the damage type to fire or radiant damage.

Level 3: Continued burn

Whenever your warlock spells and cantrips deal Fire or Radiant damage, you can add your proficiency bonus to the damage rolled.

Level 6: Burning Ward

When reaching 6th level in warlock you gain resistance to fire damage. Alternatively if you already have resistance to fire damage you gain resistance to one of the following damage types of your choice. Acid, cold, force, lightning, necrotic, poison, radiant or thunder.

Additionally when you are the target of an attack that you can see withing 60 ft, as a reaction you can add your proficiency bonus to your Armor class. The attacking creature then takes double your proficiency bonus in fire damage regardless of whether the attack hits or misses as you call fire and light down to strike your foe.

Level 10: Clean burn

As a bonus action you can remove one of the following effects on a creature you can see within 30ft including yourself if able and at the D.M's discretion.

  • Charmed

  • Poisoned
  • Stunned

Using your patrons power to burn away all impurity's.

Level 10: Revealing light

As the connection to your patron burns ever brighter you gain the ability to cast certain spells without requiring concentration. You gain the Dancing lights cantrip and whenever you cast the cantrip it doesn't require concentration. Additionally you can cast Faerie Fire without using a spell slot a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, when you cast the spell in this way it doesn't require concentration. You regain all expended uses at the next dawn.

Level 14: Blazing form

As an Action you can summon 2 fire elementals within 10ft of you in an unoccupied space you can see accessing your connection with your patron to pull them from the plane of fire. You control the elementals (no action required) and they act on your turn. They last 10 minutes before returning to there plane of origin, they are dismissed early if you are incapacitated or they drop to 0 Hp respectively.

You may dismiss them early willingly as a bonus action if so, you may chose a creature for each elemental dismissed (including you and they may be the same creature) within 30ft of there previous space, the selected creatures regains hit points equal to half the remaining hit points for the dismissed creature/s.

When you take this action you can not do so again until the next dawn unless you spend a 5th level spell slot or higher to do so again.
