Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

Fighters who follow the Way of the Dual Fangs are relentless in combat. Trained to wield a weapon in each hand, they strike with a rhythm that overwhelms slower opponents. These fighters hone their reflexes to react in the blink of an eye, capitalizing on enemy mistakes and pushing the pace of battle. Their fighting style favors versatility—they may use blades, pistols, or other one-handed weapons, adapting to different combat situations.

This subclass enhances two-weapon fighting by removing common limitations, granting mobility, and adding layered offensive pressure. Critical hits open up new attacks, and their reflexes turn defense into offense. As the fight drags on, the Dual Fangs only grow more dangerous, using speed and positioning to maintain control of the battlefield.

Dual Fang Technique

  • Two-Weapon Fighting Expanded: You can dual-wield longswords and other versatile weapons without the Dual Wielder feat. When wielding two weapons, you can use your bonus action to make an additional attack with your off-hand weapon, dealing full damage (instead of the usual penalty for off-hand strikes).
  • Relentless Strikes: When you hit a creature with both weapons in the same turn, you deal an additional 1d6 slashing damage.

Predator’s Reflex

  • Offensive Guard: When wielding two melee weapons, you gain a +1 AC bonus.
  • Quick Step: When you take the Attack action, you can move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks.

Blood in the Water

  • Predatory Focus: When you score a critical hit with a melee weapon, you can immediately make an additional attack with your off-hand weapon. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Dexterity modifier (minimum 1), regaining all uses after a short or long rest.
  • Adrenaline Surge: When reduced to half HP or lower, you gain advantage on melee attack rolls until the end of your next turn.

Duelist’s Riposte

  • Counterstrike: When a creature within 5 feet of you misses you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to make an attack with your off-hand weapon against that creature. If the attack hits, it deals an additional 2d8 slashing damage.

Alpha Predator

  • Overwhelming Blades: When you take the Attack action and hit with both weapons in a single turn, you can activate this feature to deal an additional 4d6 slashing damage to all creatures you hit until the start of your next turn. Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest to use it again.
