Base Class: Cleric
Clerics who walk the path of the Inferno serve gods of flame, ash, and unrelenting change. These deities—like Khes, Flame-Tender and Breaker of Chains—are not content with stillness or stasis. They burn away weakness, scorch impurity, and reduce old orders to cinders so that something new may rise from the ruin.
Their followers carry that purpose like a wildfire: unpredictable, radiant, and consuming. To these clerics, fire is not only a weapon but a sacred force—one that cleanses, transforms, and reminds the world that nothing, not even stone, lasts forever. They bring light into the shadows not as comfort, but as reckoning. Their prayers are embers; their miracles, infernos.
Bonus Cantrip
You gain the fire bolt cantrip if you don’t already know it. This cantrip doesn’t count against the number of cleric cantrips you know.
One with the Flame
Also at 1st level, you become one with the flame. You gain resistance to fire damage and when you take fire damage, you gain 1d4 + your Wisdom modifier temporary hitpoints.
This feature can be used once per short rest.
Channel Divinity: Searing Wrath
Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to wield the the destructive force of elemental flame.
When you roll fire damage, you can use your Channel Divinity to deal maximum damage, instead of rolling.
Overwhelming Flame
At 6th level, when you deal fire damage to a creature, you can use your reaction to impose a Constitution saving throw. On a failure, the target becomes incapacitated until the start of your next turn. This effect ends when the creature takes damage or subjected to a harmful effect.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Potent Spellcasting
Starting at 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip. This damage is radiant damage.
Avatar of the Inferno
At 17th level, you have a flying speed equal to your current walking speed whenever you are not underground or indoors.
You gain immunity to fire and radiant damage, and your Channel Divinity feature also converts all fire damage dealt into radiant damage.
