Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Gwynharwyf is the celestial patron of barbarians, the model for how rage and righteousness can coexist in a single being. Her champions are mortal barbarians who strive to emulate her sublime balance of fury and reserve, using their rage to smite implacably evil foes while retaining their focus on good, with its demands for mercy and respect for life. They are among the fiercest warriors for the cause of good on the Material Plane, armed with spells they can actually cast while raging, iron-willed resistance to compulsions, and eladrinlike resistance to attacks in addition to their fearsome rage.

Spellcasting

When you reach 3rd level, you gain the ability to cast spells. See Spell Rules for the general rules of spellcasting and the Spell Listing for the Paladin spell list.

Cantrips

You learn two cantrips of your choice from the following spell list. You learn another cantrip of your choice at 10th level.

Spell Slots

The Champion of Gwynharwyf Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your wizard spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell’s level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest.

For example, if you know the 1st-level spell charm person and have a 1st-level and a 2nd-level spell slot available, you can cast charm person using either slot.

Spells Known of 1st-Level and Higher

You know three 1st-level Paladin spells of your choice on the list..

The Spells Known column of the Champion of Gwynharwyr Spellcasting table shows when you learn more spells of 1st level or higher. Each of these spells must be an enchantment or illusion spell of your choice, and must be of a level for which you have spell slots. For instance, when you reach 7th level in this class, you can learn one new spell of 1st or 2nd level.

Whenever you gain a level in this class, you can replace one of the spells you know with another spell of your choice from the cleric spell list. The new spell must be of a level for which you have spell slots.

Spellcasting Ability

Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for your  spells, since you learn your spells through dedicated study and memorization. You use your Wisdom whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Wisdom modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a cleric spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.

Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier

Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier

Spell casting focus

You can use a holy symbol ( found in chapter 5) as a spellcasting focus for you Champion of Gwynharwyf spells.

Rage and Righteousness

At 3rd level, you become proficient in the Intimidation skill.

Righteous Focus

When you select this path at 3rd level, you are able to cast and maintain spells cast from the Path of Gwynharwyf spell list while raging.

Smite Evil

At 3rd level, a Path of Gwynharwyf may attempt to smite evil with one melee weapon attack, once per long rest.  She deal extra radiant damage to the target. The damage equals 5 + twice his or her barbarian level.  This increases to twice per long rest at 8th level, and three times at 13th level

Divine Grace

Beginning at 6th level, a Path of Gwynharwyf gains a bonus equal to her Charisma modifier (minimum 1) on all saving throws.

Fearsome Fury

Beginning at 10th level, a Path of Gwynharwyf can strike terror into the hearts of her foes while she rages.  An enemy that comes within 30 feet of her while she is ranging must make a Wisdom saving throw against a DC of 8 + Strength modifier + proficiency bonus.  Those that fail are frightened until your rage ends. The Frightened target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Knight of the Fey

Starting at 14th level, A Champion of Gwynharwyf grows closer to her eladrin, gaining resistance to acid, cold and lightning as well as immunity to the charmed condition.
