Base Class: Ranger
A ranger who excels at shooting many arrows at once or at hitting the most critical spots in a target.
Level 3: Shot of the Hunt
At 3rd level, you gain one of the following features of your choice. At 7th level, 11th, and 15th, you gain an additional choice.
Clear Shot
You ignore 1/2 and 3/4 cover with a bow and crossbow. You don’t have disadvantage when shooting within 5 feet of a target and don’t have disadvantage when shooting in long range. When you are hidden, and you miss a shot, your position isn’t revealed.
Disarming Shot
You make an attack roll contested by the target’s Strength (Athletics) check or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check. If the attacker wins the contest, the attack causes no damage, but the defender drops the item.
The attacker has disadvantage on its attack roll if the target is holding the item with two or more hands. The target has advantage on its ability check if it is larger than the attacking creature, or disadvantage if it is smaller.
Double Notched
Once on each of your turns when you make a weapon attack with a bow or crossbow. you can make another attack with the same weapon against a different creature that is within 5 feet of the original target and within range of your weapon as a bonus action.
Lined Shot
You spend an action to hit a line of targets. The maximum targets you can hit is equal to your proficiency bonus. You must make an attack roll against each target, if you miss, then you cannot attempt to shoot another target as part of the action. Each target must be in a line, without gaps.
Piercer
When hit a critical hit with a bow, you may deal an extra die of damage with it.
Pinning Shot
You can attempt to pin a target against a wall. If the target is prone, you may attempt to pin them against the floor. This only works if the surface is able to be punctured. Make an attack against the target’s AC, adding 4 if the surface is made from a harder material like metal. If you hit, the target takes no damage, but is restrained. They are restrained until they pull out the arrow as an action with a successful Strength (Athletics) check, DC equal to the attack roll you got.
Point Blank Shot
You have advantage when hitting a target within 10 feet of you with a crossbow or bow.
Precise Shot
You make a critical hit on a 19 or 20 with a bow.
Projectile Shot
As a reaction, you may make a bow or crossbow attack against a projectile fired. Make an attack roll against an AC 12 + wielder’s Dex bonus to hit. If you hit, roll for damage and reduce the projectile’s damage by the number. If it is reduced to 0, then the projectile is knocked out of the air. If not, it continues its course dealing the reduced damage.
Sneak Attack (1d6)
Once per turn, you can deal an extra 1d6 damage to one creature you hit with an attack if you have advantage on the attack roll. The attack must use a bow or crossbow.
You don’t need advantage on the attack roll if another enemy of the target is within 5 feet of it, that would enemy isn’t incapacitated, and you don’t have disadvantage on the attack roll.
Sneak Attack (2d6)
